Iranian FM due in Islamabad today

Islamabad-Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is arriving in Islamabad Thursday evening to discuss expansion of bilateral relations with senior Pakistani officials.

Foreign Minister Mottaki is to hold talks with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and his counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi on issues of mutual interest.

Bilateral political, economic and trade ties will top the agenda of talks to be held between Mottaki and Pakistani authorities.

During Mottaki's one-day visit, the two sides will also review issues related to the IPI gas pipeline project and regional issues.
