Lifting the Torah

Circa 1950: A rabbi lifting the Torah to show to his synagogue's congregation during a Rosh Hashanah ceremony; at Yeshivah University, New York.

This is one of those pictures that seem to tell the story of a people, in this particular case the Jewish people and there travels through time.

Except for the different Diaspora’s, Holocausts or slavery such as in Egypt and another case until the early part of the 21 century until the 108 year was ended, which has been documented now as well as throughout history and in several cases the true Palestinian people where with the Jewish people though these tragedies; Nevertheless, the Jewish people where always welcomed neighbors with there cousins, who are the true Palestinian people.

For a time this fact was clouded and in some cases almost erased from history because of the third party that created the now past 108 year war between these two groups of people that have never been natural enemies, but instead enjoyed the idea of living as neighbors and friends throughout history.

The days of old has been returned to Palestine, with the hope of many thousands of years of prosperity and happiness between these two cousins.

While they maybe a people of two different but very similar monotheistic religions, one thing throughout history due to the family ties was unification for the good of the country and the safety of this large family with two religions by Abraham (PBUH); along with love and respect because of these family ties.

If there was ever to be a true change among this large family, this would only be by God and no one else.

Finally, this brings to mind how these two religions got together many years ago to pray that the then future Queen of Palestine, my mother would have a child sent by God and to my understanding, I am that child and also to my understanding, I was sent for the sake of these two religions and the one country that has always been blessed by God, among other things by God Himself for humanity.
