On a broadcast dated Nov, 10, 2002, Jimmy Swaggart, a televangelist, referred to the Prophet Muhammad (saw) as a ‘sex deviant’ ‘pervert.’ and pedophile.’ Astagfirallah.

As for Swaggard, then this is his reality…. At his height in the mid 80’s, Jimmy Swaggart had become the world’s richest and most famous televangelist. He was exposed by a rival evangelist Marvin Gorman, who in 1997, hired a private investigator to expose Swaggart’s addiction to cheap prostitutes and sleazy motels and succeeded in catching him on the cameras with prostitute Debra Murphree. Deeply embarrassed over this incident and revelations that Swaggard was a lifelong addict to pornography his church imposed a ban on him from appearing on television for 2 years. But unable to bare the loss of revenue from his television programs, he returned back in few months, saying, “If I do not return to the pulpit this weekend, millions of people will go to hell”!!!

Swaggart lost much of his audience after this event and blamed his problems on ‘demons’ and claimed that controversial evangelist Oral Roberts had ‘cast out the demons’ over the phone, thus assuring Swaggart was now free of moral defect. (Source: The Agony of Deceit by Mike Horton)

In March 89, some woman named Catherine Campen gave an interview to Penthouse magazine, in which she claimed to have had an extramarital affair with him. Then in July 89,Penthouse ran an exclusive interview with the prostitute, Debra Murphree who said, “When I seen him on TV, I’d mostly watch his motions, just to see how he acted. The same voice, I said “God, what a freak, Kinky. Here he is up there preaching for all his money and when I see him, he’s kinky and cheap.”

She claimed that Jimmy once inquired whether he could fornicate with her child: ‘he’d ask me if I’d ever let anyone (fornicate with) my daughter when she was that young and I said, “No, She’s only nine years old.’ He asked me if she started developing or if she had any [… then Swaggart expressed his perverted thoughts on fornicating with a 9 year old girl that cannot be reproduced here for decency]

Finally, in the year 1991, police stopped Swaggart for a driving offence and found him with yet another prostitute, named Rosemary Garcia. After this third incident, Swaggart’s ministry had collapsed and was loosing $4.5 million a year. Eventually he was forced to give up his lucrative ministry.

Jimmy Swaggart, who is now the laughing stock of his peers and followers, made his comments on Allah’s Messenger after he has been exposed as adulterer, pervert and confessed pornography addict. What ever happened to ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.’
