Condoleeza Rice brings nothing new to the negotiation table in her meeting with President Abbas

January 15, 2007
Ramallah - Ma'an - Condoleezza Rice, the United States secretary of state, has failed to introduce anything new to the Israeli-Palestinian peace process during her meeting with Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas. Rice has declared that she is here only to push efforts forward and to discuss the result of the recent meeting between president Abbas and prime minister Ehud Olmert.
She claimed that her presence in the Middle East is to meet all parties and to pool efforts to find a solution to the prevailing conflict. She will meet next with the right-wing deputy prime minister of Israel, Avigdor Liebermann, in an attempt to solve both countries conflicts. She stated, ''I will do my best to help both parties to achieve development, our main aim is to create the state for the Palestinian people who have suffered a lot and have waited a long time."
Abbas said, "what we are aiming for is an end to the occupation in accordance with the 'road map' plan for peace and to implement Bush's vision to create a state in which Palestinians can live side-by-side with the Israeli state. We have to work together for a ceasefire and sustainable stability in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, this requires from Israel, on the other side, to end the blockade, and stop the wall and collective punishments."
Abbas renewed his rejection of interim, transitional and part-solutions and called for an active act to end the conflict and its repercussions.

Alone the fact she met the racist and right-extremist Avigdor Lieberman who has nothing else to do but incite hatred at every possible occasion, utterly discredits her! Were she SERIOUS - she'd start to call a spade a spade ... and that would include SETTING THIS GOVERNMENT STRAIGHT IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS AND AS FIRST - FORCE THEM TO END THE OCCUPATION!!!!!!!!!
Dear friend,
Rice discredited herself, the first time she got herself associated with Bush and their policies. Everything else is just downhill.
That whole bunch in the American government is more like something that no matter how hard you wish you could not get them to flush down in the bathroom.
