Palestinian killed by Palestinian security forces at a Palestinian checkpoint in Gaza

Ma'an – Palestinian security forces opened fire on a Palestinian at a checkpoint in the Gaza Strip on Monday. He later died in hospital.

Palestinian medical sources said that Wasim Al Masri died after arriving at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis on Monday morning.

Al Masri was shot at by Palestinian executive forces stationed at the entrance to Al Qarara, a village north of Khan Younis. A source in the force said that Al Masri refused to stop at the checkpoint erected at the entrance to the village. The forces shot warning shots into the air before firing at him, the source explained.
