Occupation Forces Shoot Woman & Leave her to Bleed to Death in Rafah
Shortly after midnight on September 21, 2006 (Thursday), an armored column of Zionist occupation forces raided the village of Um El'Naser, in the Rafah district. The force surrounded the house of a member of Hamas, Nazmi Husein Zurub. They fired at the houses in the area during the raid.
In addition, they raided one of the houses in the area and beat the owner savagely. The man's wife, Itemad Ismail Abu Mo'ammar (35), tried to stop the attack on her deaf husband; but one of the soldiers fired directly at her. She was hit by several bullets throughout her body. She was left to bleed death in the house, and died at 6:00. Occupation Forces prevented an ambulance from reaching the area to save the woman.
Eight other civilians were injured in the area, including a father and 2 of his children.
At approximately 10:00, one of the injured, Mohammad Suliman Abu Mo'ammar (28), bled to death from gunshot wounds in the left thigh and right hand. Occupation Forces prevented ambulances from saving him also.
Occupation Forces left the area after destroying 13 houses completely, and kidnapping 5 civilians. Among the kidnapped are a woman and a 13 years old boy.
And in Jabalia, Occupation Forces killed three young shepards by artillery shelling in Abu Safe'ia area about 2 kilometers away from the border. The children were killed and their bodies torn to pieces. They are: Ala Saqer Dahrouj Abu Dahrouj, 15 years old; Mohammad Selmi Mohammad Masalha, 17 years old; and Zeidan Rafiq Mohammad Abu Rashid, 16 years old.
