The dropping of the first atomic bomb was severely condemned by Pakistani Sunni Muslims yesterday, by the United States for committing such horrendous act upon the people of Nippon (Japan); while something of this nature should not be forgotten, it still should be remember that the only atomic bomb’s ever dropped was only by the United States and no such event has occurred since.

Even in an age, when allegedly there is many of these similar devices; while an initial bombing is devastating, the fall-out half-life causes health effects and other problems for generations; which is still being seen in not just Hiroshima, but also in Nagasaki. Nagasaki was bombed by the United States on 9 August 1945, just three days after Hiroshima.

Previous to these events and ensued into war, the United States had imposed what some had considered as life threatening sanctions upon Nippon (Japan) and afterward an oppressive occupation, which the United States at the time, was calling ‘the rebuilding of Japan.’

A Single Red Rose in Memories

A single red rose lies on the grave of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was shot to death by an assassin as he left a peace rally in Tel Aviv thirteen years ago, at the Mt. Herzl military cemetery, on 10 November 2008 in Jerusalem.

Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert took the opportunity to deliver a very poignant eulogy, as terrorist Tony Blair was a very unwelcome guest and is illegally in Palestine, as to some people’s assumption Blair showed very poor taste by his attendance.

Kristallnacht Pogrom 70 Years Anniversary

On 9 November 1938, Nazi SA and SS paramilitary troops attacked Jewish establishments across Germany, burning 200 synagogues, ransacking Jewish businesses, killing 92 people and deporting 25,000 to 30,000 Jews to concentration camps.

The Rykestrasse Synagogue is Germany's largest synagogue and reopened in 2006 after meticulous renovation; which is thought with much happiness among the Jewish people.

I studied for a short time to learn to read Hebrew, but I will sadly admit, like Arabia it is poor; because of my situation.

Commentary:
I was reminded recently by an old friend how when we where children and while I did not understand at the time of why we where singled out and further through school the same thing would happen or sometimes worse; which I will admit at times it got so bad, I would go home and ask my mother if there was something wrong with me; for me to be treated in such a way and she always said no or it was not me.

Prior to 9/11, if you had a Semitic background in the US, one could be subjected to Anti-Semitism, which being me; I could not understand people even thinking of being mean to each other. I started to understand more in Adulthood and still as most people know do not agree in any manner.

After 9/11, people where singled out and Islamophobia was born, so if one was Jewish they where mistreated because of Anti-Semitism and if one was Muslim, here came the Islamophobia. To here again, I have gotten the joy of having both; which is assured there are many more like myself; especially in my thinking if one actually comes from Palestine or ones ancestry is such.

Then we step back in time to WW2 and what became known most sadly as the Jewish Holocaust, while the Nazi’s apparently could tell the difference of someone being Jewish or Arab Palestinian we still ended up in the camps and worse, the gas chambers. So in further thinking, prior to 9/11 anyone Semitic had the honor of walking together with something in common, racism.

While my old friend, happened to remind me of this fact recently, for at the time when we saw each other on about a daily basis; I was only six years old and had to my understanding in the outside world the first taste of this type of maltreatment and as then to now, what is still a wonderment is most simply when will it stop or when will people stop mistreating one‘s differences; to instead appreciate these differences?

13th Anniversary of a Loss

Tens of thousands of people took part in a mass rally marking the 13th anniversary of the assassination of Jewish Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin (portrait), on 8 November 2008; in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square.

Rabin was assassinated by a misguided Jewish man in collaboration with the former Clinton Administration, on 4 November 1995; who where opposed to peace between Jewish and Muslim Palestinians.

HRM Zaytuna of Palestine also died, on 7 November 1995; while in peace negotiations with Rabin.

There is assured much sadness over the loss of these two extraordinary people that just wished peace between the Jewish and Muslim Palestinians and I know on my part being the daughter of Zaytuna, that both are very missed.- HRM Deborah

Will the New Orleans Levees hold?

As for some areas of New Orleans the levee’s have not been rebuilt, other area’s the levee situation is in inadequate was a remark made by the Corp of Engineer’s yesterday on a live news report that is constantly being splashed across New Orleans air ways, along with the strong possibility of mandatory evacuation of all resident’s with the hope of no loss of life this time; as was the estimated death toll of over 18,000, during Hurricane Katrina.

Nevertheless, as some resident’s have already left and today is the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina hitting landfall; as for Gustav it is still a wait and see if this hurricane will hit, what the damage will be if any or how many lives maybe lost this time around.

It is a hope that Gustav not come to New Orleans this time around and for those that do evacuate it is more of a small vacation, than another time of broken memories and shedding tears for lost loved ones.

As for the levee repairs that have been done, it is some opinion’s; that it is a more of a cross one’s finger’s for luck and hope these hold idea.

As to the many people concerned towards my welfare with the impeding disaster of Gustav, please do not worry; Allah protected us through Hurricane Katrina and I am sure Allah will do the same this time.

Something else that happened to came to mind and I have said this for years, a person can never have too few adventures in life or life get’s a bit dull, for they can be anything and I say this with a smile. For what may seem for some people a bad situation, doesn’t necessarily have to be so.

The memorable sounds
Of an Ancient land
Whispering softly in spring winds.
Tender calls of sorrow
Due to pain of tortures
The beatings of death.

Chariots drumming on cobblestones
Shouts of men
From distant countries
Take booty from another
Or a reprieve in security
Dissolving strife.

The elderly man sits solemnly
With his young granddaughter
On a work worn knee
Teaching the wisdom of sages
From his fading existence.

The humble soul
Hunched on a tired staff
In the pastures of humanity
Listening to the parallels
Passing on
Wondering what his voice
And his life will be
In the distant winds of time.

Commentary:

It is not often one can celebrate an anniversary, for me this one is the one year mark for this blog page. Actually, it all began March 5th, with the hope to make a difference to hearing the Palestinian voice in English.

For myself, it is a different view sometimes because I am a refugee of a war that has gone on much to long and continues to destroy countries as well as murder countless numbers of people. Which at this point and time lingers towards a full scale global war; that in my opinion needs to stop before needlessly the world suffers from a form extinction?

Since starting this page a year ago, I have been attacked and accused of countless things of my intentions or views that a far to may times was incorrect. For those who can actually see and understand, I thank you deeply from my heart.

I will readily admit, for global peace, the political system known as Zionism needs to be stopped for they not only murder the Palestinian people, but with their Allies in the West threaten all people of the world.

Where the counter measure would be full global peace for all people and all religions, where the world once again will never hunger and all the suffering for humanity would stop.

The world as it stands today is unraveling like thread with the full implosion to and abyss, that if it continues could very well threaten the core existence for all humanity and this would bring about every language to every culture in the world more suffering; then their begging to God for help.

To smell the stench of war and death is needless to the wellbeing and love for all mankind.

Finally, I have seen in other blog’s where they talk about themselves on and anniversary post, but for me this is fruitless because I am only one voice to hope, standing in a desert with my arms out stretched like a woman hugging her children. For the world in love, are my children.
