Archeologists Find 2,000-year-old Gold Earring’s
A 2,000-year-old gold earring inlaid with pearls and precious stones is displayed after its discovery at the City of David archaeological excavation below the Old City walls in East Jerusalem, on 10 November 2008.
The earring is made of a coiled gold hoop and has a large inlaid pearl in its center with two identical gold pendants each adorned with an emerald and a pearl.
According to archaeologists at the site, the well-preserved earring was discovered in the ruins of a building which dates to the Byzantine period (4th-5th Centuries AD) but was apparently produced during the course of the Roman period, some 2,000 years ago.
The City of David archaeological excavation, where a 2,000-year-old gold earring inlaid with pearls and precious stones was discovered.
It was further reported, that these earrings are another very possible find from the Palestine royal family. It does look like something we would wear, especially with what looks like not just the pearl’s but the green stones which while I can not tell what they are from the picture; but I have seen worn where emeralds, especially the older members of the family use to wear. As for the gold, the Palestine royal family is only suppose to wear gold.
Pearl’s are very common with the royal family among other precious stones for thousands of years, as well as a clear type of stone that I can not think the name of right now. Which I use to have my mothers necklace and earrings until they were stolen in 2000.
As to the time period, the Palestine royal family were there. I say this because, the only time the Palestine royal family was ever away from Palestine is when we where taken Political hostage at the beginning of the last war which lasted 108 years; with my great grandmother.
Nevertheless, Jerusalem has been the home of the Palestine royal family since the city was first built by us.-HRM Deborah

Jerusalem Zoo's Two-week old Cottontop Tamarin Monkey Takes a Rest
A two-week old gentle face baby Cottontop Tamarin monkey rests on the back of its father at the Jerusalem Zoo, on 10 November 2008. The Cottontop Tamarin can now only be found in the tropical forests of Colombia.
Life span in captivity has been as high as 25 years whereas life span in the wild is about 13–16 years.
The population is less than 1000 in the wild and about 1800 in captivity, and is continuing to decline. This species is endangered, having lost three-quarters of its original habitat to deforestation.
They are now protected by international law, although they are numerous in captivity, they are still critically endangered in the wild.

First lady Laura Bush took soon to be first lady Michelle Obama on a tour of the White House as the President and Mr. Obama walked along the colonnade to the Oval Office where they had a meeting.
Both Obama and Bush are wanted on charges of Terrorism, among other criminal charges.
While some people think Obama will be change after the Bush Administration was such a disaster, can be assured that these two men are the same type of men; just have different faces. Which there is a contention that Obama may be even worse then Bush, if it is possible.
Obama has already shown sign’s as a remake of the Bush Administration even before his swearing into office.

Japan protests unannounced visit by US nuclear sub
10 November 2008
By MARI YAMAGUCHI
TOKYO –Japan lodged a protest with the United States after an American nuclear submarine made an unannounced visit in southern Japan, the Foreign Ministry said Monday.
The USS Providence arrived in the White Beach Naval Facility on the southern island of Okinawa on Monday without prior notice, a requirement under a bilateral agreement, and stayed there for two hours, the ministry said.
"It is extremely regrettable that a U.S. submarine visited one of our ports without proper advance notice," the ministry said in a statement. "The United States must notify our government at least 24 hours before its nuclear submarines visit our ports."
Nuclear warships and weapons are a sensitive topic for Japan, the only country that has suffered atomic attacks.
Shinichi Nishimiya, director of the ministry's North American Bureau, lodged a protest with the U.S. Embassy, demanding an explanation and efforts to prevent such incidents in the future, the ministry said.
It said James Zumwalt, the embassy's deputy chief of mission, responded later Monday that the incident was caused by miss-communication in the U.S. Navy and that the U.S. government regretted it.
U.S. Embassy officials were not immediately available for comment.
A disclosure in August by the U.S. Navy that another nuclear submarine, the USS Houston, had leaked small amounts of radiation while visiting Japanese ports over the past two years triggered protests in Japan, though an investigation concluded it posed no health threat.

A Single Red Rose in Memories
A single red rose lies on the grave of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was shot to death by an assassin as he left a peace rally in Tel Aviv thirteen years ago, at the Mt. Herzl military cemetery, on 10 November 2008 in Jerusalem.
Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert took the opportunity to deliver a very poignant eulogy, as terrorist Tony Blair was a very unwelcome guest and is illegally in Palestine, as to some people’s assumption Blair showed very poor taste by his attendance.

Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert talks about the 70th anniversary of Kristallnacht at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting, on 9 November 2008 in Jerusalem.
Kristallnacht, or the Night of Broken Glass, was a pogrom in Nazi Germany where on the night of 9 November 1938; hundreds of Jewish synagogues and businesses were destroyed as 92 Jews were murdered and tens of thousands were arrested and deported to concentration camps.
Remembering tends to show the heart
No matter if one’s in a crowd,
We still lean towards walking alone
Within our own thoughts.

Kristallnacht Pogrom 70 Years Anniversary
Jews and non-Jews attend a commemorative service for the 70th anniversary of the Kristallnacht pogrom at the beautifully restored Rykestrasse Synagogue, on 9 November 2008; in Berlin, Germany.
On 9 November 1938, Nazi SA and SS paramilitary troops attacked Jewish establishments across Germany, burning 200 synagogues, ransacking Jewish businesses, killing 92 people and deporting 25,000 to 30,000 Jews to concentration camps.
Central Council of Jews in Germany head Charlotte Knobloch speaks at a commemorative service for the 70th anniversary of the Kristallnacht pogrom at the beautifully restored Rykestrasse Synagogue, on 9 November 2008; in Berlin, Germany.
The Rykestrasse Synagogue is Germany's largest synagogue and reopened in 2006 after meticulous renovation; which is thought with much happiness among the Jewish people.
One who was thought hidden, but now is seen (for 'it was time'): A young Jewish man attends a commemorative service for the 70th anniversary of the Kristallnacht pogrom at the beautifully restored Rykestrasse Synagogue, on 9 November 2008; in Berlin, Germany. I studied for a short time to learn to read Hebrew, but I will sadly admit, like Arabia it is poor; because of my situation.
Commentary:
I was reminded recently by an old friend how when we where children and while I did not understand at the time of why we where singled out and further through school the same thing would happen or sometimes worse; which I will admit at times it got so bad, I would go home and ask my mother if there was something wrong with me; for me to be treated in such a way and she always said no or it was not me.
Prior to 9/11, if you had a Semitic background in the US, one could be subjected to Anti-Semitism, which being me; I could not understand people even thinking of being mean to each other. I started to understand more in Adulthood and still as most people know do not agree in any manner.
After 9/11, people where singled out and Islamophobia was born, so if one was Jewish they where mistreated because of Anti-Semitism and if one was Muslim, here came the Islamophobia. To here again, I have gotten the joy of having both; which is assured there are many more like myself; especially in my thinking if one actually comes from Palestine or ones ancestry is such.
Then we step back in time to WW2 and what became known most sadly as the Jewish Holocaust, while the Nazi’s apparently could tell the difference of someone being Jewish or Arab Palestinian we still ended up in the camps and worse, the gas chambers. So in further thinking, prior to 9/11 anyone Semitic had the honor of walking together with something in common, racism.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel (L) and Central Council of Jews in Germany head Charlotte Knobloch arrive at a commemorative service for the 70th anniversary of the Kristallnacht pogrom at the beautifully restored Rykestrasse Synagogue, on 9 November 2008; in Berlin, Germany.
While my old friend, happened to remind me of this fact recently, for at the time when we saw each other on about a daily basis; I was only six years old and had to my understanding in the outside world the first taste of this type of maltreatment and as then to now, what is still a wonderment is most simply when will it stop or when will people stop mistreating one‘s differences; to instead appreciate these differences?

13th Anniversary of a Loss
Tens of thousands of people took part in a mass rally marking the 13th anniversary of the assassination of Jewish Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin (portrait), on 8 November 2008; in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square.
Rabin was assassinated by a misguided Jewish man in collaboration with the former Clinton Administration, on 4 November 1995; who where opposed to peace between Jewish and Muslim Palestinians.
HRM Zaytuna of Palestine also died, on 7 November 1995; while in peace negotiations with Rabin.
There is assured much sadness over the loss of these two extraordinary people that just wished peace between the Jewish and Muslim Palestinians and I know on my part being the daughter of Zaytuna, that both are very missed.- HRM Deborah
