Prince Charles on Global Tour

Prince Charles (C-front) walks along the red carpet followed by British Ambassador to Indonesia Martin Hatfull (R-behind) upon his arrival at Halim Perdanakusuma airport in Jakarta.

I just wished to send greetings and wish my cousin to have very happy, pleasant trip.
I first learned about Charles, when I was a young girl; from my grandmother and mother. I will admit, I have followed some of cousin Charles endeavors for many years; along with his dear family and have always wished many good things for my British cousins, to the fact that the Palestine royal family has always had a deep fondness for British royal family that dates back for centuries.- HRM Deborah

Prince Charles arrived in Indonesia Saturday in a visit to promote the preservation of forests and encourage interfaith dialogue in the world's largest Muslim-majority nation.

The visit is the first time in nearly two decades the heir to the British throne has visited the Southeast Asian nation and comes on the back of trips to Japan and Brunei.

Charles is scheduled to visit rainforest conservation work on Sumatra island before travelling to Jakarta to meet President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

He will later travel to Yogyakarta on Java island to meet the city's hereditary Sultan Hamengkubuwono X.

Britain's Ambassador to Indonesia Martin Hatfull said Friday conservation of rain forests and interfaith dialogue were "very close to the Prince of Wales' heart."

"He is well known and well respected as an authority... on both these issues," Hatfull said.

'Free Gaza' Piracy Excursion in Progress

The following article comes from a Canaanite terrorist News agency, with the Free Gaza terrorists that are associated with Global terrorist Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization attempting to commit crimes against International law; as well as Palestine law. In has been proven time and again these terrorist from Free Gaza are usually armed and extremely dangerous.

Furthermore, what one reads in the following article, do not believe in any manner; it is a strategic cover for terrorism activities, which has been verified to be strictly terrorism.

Nevertheless, any attempt to create this latest terrorist move and illegal entry into Palestine; which is also classified as international Piracy; will receive the full extent of the law without exception.

Terrorist Activists to launch Aloha Palestine!; provide regular ferry service to Gaza

1 November 2008

Bethlehem-Members of the original Free Gaza ships have announced the establishment of Aloha Palestine, a passenger shipping service running between Palestine and Cyprus on a regularly scheduled route.

Original crew members Lauren Booth and Ken O’Keefe have spearheaded the project. Designed as a not-for-profit company, Aloha Palestine will seek to repeat and build upon the success of the Free Gaza campaign, which landed the first international vessels in the Gaza City port in 41 years.

According to the first press release from Aloha Palestine, the mission statement of the new organization will be to “reflect the common values of hospitality, generosity and desire for a just peace that are found both in Hawaii and Palestine…the exceptional spirit of welcome, of ‘Fadal’...It is an invitation to all who come in peace, to become not just friends, but family.”

The organization will offer a passenger service between Gaza and Cyprus, as well as helping to ensure the safe passage of students and patients out of the area, and medications into the Strip.

As with the first voyage, the priority of each journey will be humanitarian.

The project is currently fundraising and hopes to secure 750,000 British pounds in order to purchase a ferry to run the service. The boat will have the capacity to carry 200-250 individuals. The group is looking to raise additional funds to provide service and a crew for the vessel, as well as registration feels and legal costs.

The group has stated that after the initial start-up costs that they hope the ship will be able to pay for its self after a few years. Once the service becomes regular non-humanitarian passengers will be asked to pay a fee for their ticket in order to subsidize the travel of in-need Gazans.

Aloha Palestine will also transport impartial, professionally trained international observers to Gaza who will document abuses of Palestinian human rights whilst working hard to see that these are once again respected. As an “act of good faith," Aloha Palestine proposed that international observers are also sent into Israel, to document the affect of the ongoing crisis in Israeli areas.

In order to be registered as a ferry service in Cyprus the organization pledged to the government to comply with rules of territorial and international law. In their statement Aloha Palestine indicated that they “fully respect this position.” Their statement also added that no weapons will ever be allowed onto their vessels, and that they will not “transport any persons without lawful verification of their identity including the correct travel documents as required by foreign governments.”

Prominent Jewish Congressman Rahm Emanuel Floated as Obama Chief of Staff

The Associated Press reports that Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel has been approached about being Barack Obama's chief of staff.

1 November 2008

US-As Barack Obama continues to absorb accusations that he is not committed to maintaining America's staunch support for Israel, knowledgeable Democrats have leaked word that he is considering a well-known, pro-Israeli Jewish congressman to be his chief of staff if elected.

The Associated Press reported Thursday night that Obama's campaign has approached Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel* about the job.

Such an appointment could be seen as a salve to Jewish voters, some of whom have grown skeptical of Obama despite his repeated statements that he is committed to Israel's security.

Emanuel belongs to an orthodox Jewish congregation in Chicago and worked as a volunteer in Israel during the first Gulf War. His father was a pediatrician who grew up in Israel and worked for the Israeli underground before independence.

Obama and his campaign won't comment on the implications of forging an Emanuel-led White House staff -- but they're not completely dismissing the report that he's being considered for the job, either.

Asked if Emanuel would be his chief of staff Thursday night in Missouri, Obama responded: I'm trying to win an election."

Is that a no? a reporter asked.

"Plouffe is my chief of staff," Obama answered, referring to his campaign manager, David Plouffe.

"There's no news because there's no job to offer. We're focused on one thing and that's the election, not anonymous D.C. parlor games," spokesman Nick Shapiro told FOXNews.com in an e-mail.

Emanuel, a veteran of President Clinton's White House, has swiftly ascended through the Democratic ranks since his election to Congress. He was chairman of the Democratic campaign committee two years ago, when the party won a majority for the first time in more than a decade, and he cemented his reputation as a prodigious fundraiser and strong-willed political strategist.

He also served as a senior adviser and fundraiser for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley before joining the Clinton White House. His Chicago ties could also explain why Obama may be considering him.

But the apparent trial balloon comes as John McCain's campaign continues to hammer the Obama for his statements on Iran, whose president is openly hostile toward Israel.

The McCain campaign recently recycled an ad that ridicules Obama for saying Iran "doesn't pose a serious threat."

The narrator says: "Terrorism, destroying Israel, those aren't serious threats? Obama -- dangerously unprepared to be president."

McCain's camp is also going after Obama for a tape in the Los Angeles Times' possession that supposedly shows Obama giving a toast to Rashid Khalidi, a fierce critic of Israel.

And Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher, who is now campaigning for McCain, twice agreed on Tuesday with a claim from a man at a rally that "a vote for Barack Obama is a vote for the death to Israel."

There was also a pro-Israel rally held Friday in Boca Raton, Fla., under the title: The Case Against Obama: Fatal for Israel -- Lethal for the Jews."

Obama states on his Web site that he strongly supports the U.S.-Israel relationship, as well as Israel's right to defend itself and providing foreign assistance to the country.

Meanwhile, McCain's campaign seized on the Emanuel leak as a sign of overconfidence Friday, with just four days to go until Election Day.

"He's measuring the drapes ... and this week he settled on a chief of staff," McCain said at an Ohio rally.

"I think the reality is that Senator Obama ought to let the American people have a vote before he starts setting up his White House," McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said.

Both Obama and McCain have authorized their staffs to begin transition operations in recent weeks -- although only one of them will be in a position to make use of the results.

*Rahm Emanuel, is a right wing Zionist; who it is understood has no real regard for Judaism or Palestine in actuality.

Bush on a Patriotic Election without Representation

For Immediate Release
November 1, 2008

Audio
THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. This Tuesday is Election Day. After months of spirited debate and vigorous campaigning, the time has come for Americans to make important decisions about our Nation's future. I encourage all Americans to go to the polls and vote.

Election season brings out the spirit of competition between our political parties, and that competition is an essential part of a healthy democracy. But as the campaigns come to a close, Republicans, Democrats, and independents can find common ground on at least one point: Our system of representative democracy is one of America's greatest strengths.

The United States was founded on the belief that all men are created equal. Every Election Day, millions of Americans of all races, religions, and backgrounds step into voting booths throughout the Nation. Whether they are rich or poor, old or young, each of them has an equal share in choosing the path that our country will take. And every ballot they cast is a reminder that our founding principles are alive and well.

Voting is one of the great privileges of American citizenship, and it has always required brave defenders. As you head to the polls next week, remember the sacrifices that have been made by generations of Americans in uniform to preserve our way of life. From Bunker Hill to Baghdad, the men and women of American Armed Forces have been devoted guardians of our democracy. All of us owe them and their families a special debt of gratitude on Election Day.

Americans should also remember the important example that our elections set throughout the world. Young democracies from Georgia and Ukraine to Afghanistan and Iraq can look to the United States for proof that self-government can endure. And nations that still live under tyranny and oppression can find hope and inspiration in our commitment to liberty.

For more than two centuries, Americans have demonstrated the ability of free people to choose their own leaders. Our Nation has flourished because of its commitment to trusting the wisdom of our citizenry. In this year's election, we will see this tradition continue. And we will be reminded once again that we are blessed to live in a free nation guided by the will of the people.

Thank you for listening

Commentary:
Unlike the radio address that Bush gave today, they are similar to ones that former US President’s have gave in the past especially in time’s of war, during the Great Depression, etc; when the President at that particular time felt, the US was in serious troubles.
Usually also, while they where trying to get the country to rally around them with these types of speeches; in the majority of cases, it was a failure and the president for lack of better explanation, stood alone.

Furthermore, what brings this also to mind is the tone of Bush’s voice in giving this speech; which was more monotone, without enthusiasm. While some former President’s did try to appear with enthusiasm, there was always certain tone’s missing from the voice structure.

How people speak reflects with many factors, in this particular case; words without true meaning. Just like the child that has to read a book report in front of the class and really either do not care or wish too. Another example that comes to mind, is a naughty child having to face the parent wondering what the fallout will be or punishment.

As in this case, Bush probably knows as a president he has failed on all front’s and has lashed out on too many front’s both domestic and globally, to waiting for the chicken to come home to roost on his head; to laying the preverbal egg, with the ever surmountable anger not just in the US, but globally.

Probably, Bush is waiting to further see, the extreme irate crowd coming towards him with the burning torches scenario; which seems to come to not just my mind, but other people's mind's lately. Which again, is reminiscent of the French Revolution(1789–1799) or from and old black and white Frankenstein movie; which if I remember correctly, was in 1931, with Boris Karloff.

Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy: India

1 November 2008

New Delhi-India's External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee in an exclusive interview with IRNA has emphasized Iran's right on Nuclear Peace Process.

He said: We firmly are of the view that Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

In an interview with IRNA ahead of departure to Tehran, Mukherjee explained his opinion about his visit to Tehran for participating in Iran-India joint commission before he left India.

Excerpts of interview:
Q.1: Your Excellency's visit to Tehran is taking place in a desirable circumstance after the inking of the US-India nuclear deal, the visit is, in fact, an affirmation of the strong relations between Iran and India and a rejection of the rumors that the deal may influence the ties between Tehran and New Delhi. What is your views in this regard?

Pranab: India-Iran relations are important in themselves because of our historic, civilizational as well as contemporary ties. Regular exchange of high level visits has always been characteristic of our relations. This is in fact my third visit in about 20 months and underscores both the importance which India gives to its relations with Iran as also the substantive interests India and Iran have in common.

Q.2: It seems that the relations between Iran and India have to be evaluated without the prospect of peace pipeline. How do you think about this?

Pranab: India and Iran have a broad based relationship and no single issue defines it in its entirety. Energy security is important for India and Iran as a major hydrocarbon exporting country. The energy aspect of our relationship is therefore also extremely important. Both sides are committed to the Iran-Pakistan-India Gas Pipeline Project which is an important part of our much wider relationship on energy related issues.

Q.3: What percentage of the energy need of India would be met by the US-India nuclear deal? Which are the other plans India is looking for to have access to the secure energy resources?

Pranab: As an energy deficient country we have to use all available sources of energy - Thermal, Hydro, Nuclear, Solar, Wind, etc. Just as the Civil Nuclear Agreement is important from our energy security point of view, similarly, other sources are also important and we will pursue all possible sources to meet our energy requirements so as to ensure that our developmental goals are fully achieved.

Q.4: NAM has increased its influence on the international developments. Do you think that NAM will regain its earlier strong position in the international levels.

Pranab: NAM continues to provide the guiding principle of the foreign policies of many countries and has continued relevance for the countries of Asia and the entire developing world India as a founder member of NAM is convinced of the continued importance.

Q.5: The Western and Indian media have said many things on the recent remarks of the Indian Prime Minister about Iran's peaceful nuclear activities. What exactly was the context of the Prime Minister's remarks? Particularly, it is said that the Prime Minister uttered the remarks keeping in mind the US-India nuclear deal.

Pranab: In my view the Prime Minister stated our position which is well known. We have all along been saying that all issues relating to Iran's Nuclear Programme must be resolved through dialogue and understanding and that confrontation must be avoided. We believe that the IAEA must play a central role in resolving all the outstanding issue.

Q.6: As your Excellency is well aware, the negotiations between Iran and the Group of 5+1 are advancing well and it seems that the group is satisfied. Particularly, the reports of the Secretary General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) endorse a good cooperation of Iran with the world body. Since, Your Excellency had earlier said that Iran's nuclear issue has to be taken out of the political concept and put it into a technical and legal one, how do you see the process in this regard?

Pranab: As I said we believe that the IAEA must play a central role in this process. We firmly are of the view that Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and in a manner that is consistent with its international obligations and commitments.

Powerful Iran to benefit all world: Davoudi

1 November 2008

Tehran-First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi said that a powerful Iran would benefit all regional and world countries.

He made the remark in a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin held on the sidelines of the 7th conference of Shanghai Cooperation Organization prime ministers in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Davoudi added that presence of a powerful Russia in the region would also benefit the Iranian nation, the regional states, and the entire globe.

Referring to close economic relations between the two states, he called for strengthening of Tehran-Moscow strategic cooperation.

On current global economic crisis, the Iranian VP said the current crisis has created serious concern for the world states.

The current situation is an indication of incapability of the capitalism in administering the global economy, he noted.

Referring to the will of the two countries' leaders to further promote all-out ties, Davoudi called for establishment of gas OPEC by the two states.

He also voiced Tehran's readiness to establish a joint bank with Russia.

Criticizing the current global financial crisis, Putin said such a situation is resulted from wrong monetary policies of the western states.

On admission of Iran as the main member of the SCO, he said the move was welcomed by Moscow from the very beginning.

Expressing his satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations between the two countries, Putin reiterated that mutual cooperation is growing.

The volume of Tehran-Moscow trade stands at dlrs 5.3 billion, he said, adding that the figure is an indication to expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two states.

On cooperation at the Caspian Sea as very important for both sides, the Russian premier noted that there is a bright prospect for both Iran and Russia.

Regular session of SCO Prime Ministers Council was held in Astana on October 29-30.

Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are the SCO member countries and Iran, India, Mongolia and Pakistan are the observer states.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an intergovernmental security organization which was founded in 2001 by the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Except for Uzbekistan, the other countries had been members of Shanghai Five, founded in 1996, after the inclusion of Uzbekistan in 2001, the members renamed the Organization.

By certain people, this earthquake is being considered apart of the upheaval that is affecting the whole earth. Which this is just one the many events that have been foretold in prophesy; to not just Islam, but Judaism and Christianity.

As to why this particular area in Pakistan received this earthquake, I only have a theory of cause; which nevertheless, something of this manner is very sad to me.

Bush launches last-minute deregulation push

White House moves to relax many rules covering private industry

U.S. President George W. Bush and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice walk's hurriedly from the Oval Office to Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House, on 31 October 2008; in Washington, DC, amidst the huge crowds of angry economic protestors that would apear to wish Bush's head on a guillotine, of what would be shades of the French Revolution (1789–1799) . Bush is traveling to the presidential retreat at Camp David in Maryland to spend the weekend.

31 October 2008
By
R. Jeffrey Smith

The White House is working to enact a wide array of federal regulations, many of which would weaken government rules aimed at protecting consumers and the environment, before President Bush leaves office in January.

The new rules would be among the most controversial deregulatory steps of the Bush era and could be difficult for his successor to undo. Some would ease or lift constraints on private industry, including power plants, mines and farms.

Those and other regulations would help clear obstacles to some commercial ocean-fishing activities, ease controls on emissions of pollutants that contribute to global warming, relax drinking-water standards and lift a key restriction on mountaintop coal mining.

Once such rules take effect, they typically can be undone only through a laborious new regulatory proceeding, including lengthy periods of public comment, drafting and mandated reanalysis.

'Last-minute assault'
"They want these rules to continue to have an impact long after they leave office," said Matthew Madia, a regulatory expert at OMB Watch, a nonprofit group critical of what it calls the Bush administration's penchant for deregulating in areas where industry wants more freedom. He called the coming deluge "a last-minute assault on the public . . . happening on multiple fronts."

White House spokesman Tony Fratto said: "This administration has taken extraordinary measures to avoid rushing regulations at the end of the term. And yes, we'd prefer our regulations stand for a very long time — they're well reasoned and are being considered with the best interests of the nation in mind."

As many as 90 new regulations are in the works, and at least nine of them are considered "economically significant" because they impose costs or promote societal benefits that exceed $100 million annually. They include new rules governing employees who take family- and medical-related leaves, new standards for preventing or containing oil spills, and a simplified process for settling real estate transactions.

While it remains unclear how much the administration will be able to accomplish in the coming weeks, the last-minute rush appears to involve fewer regulations than Bush's predecessor, Bill Clinton, approved at the end of his tenure.

Burst of activity
In some cases, Bush's regulations reflect new interpretations of language in federal laws. In other cases, such as several new counterterrorism initiatives, they reflect new executive branch decisions in areas where Congress — now out of session and focused on the elections — left the president considerable discretion.

The burst of activity has made this a busy period for lobbyists who fear that industry views will hold less sway after the elections. The doors at the New Executive Office Building have been whirling with corporate officials and advisers pleading for relief or, in many cases, for hastened decision making.

According to the Office of Management and Budget's regulatory calendar, the commercial scallop-fishing industry came in two weeks ago to urge that proposed catch limits be eased, nearly bumping into National Mining Association officials making the case for easing rules meant to keep coal slurry waste out of Appalachian streams. A few days earlier, lawyers for kidney dialysis and biotechnology companies registered their complaints at the OMB about new Medicare reimbursement rules. Lobbyists for customs brokers complained about proposed counterterrorism rules that require the advance reporting of shipping data.

Bush's aides are acutely aware of the political risks of completing their regulatory work too late. On the afternoon of Bush's inauguration, Jan. 20, 2001, his chief of staff issued a government-wide memo that blocked the completion or implementation of regulations drafted in the waning days of the Clinton administration that had not yet taken legal effect.

"Through the end of the Clinton administration, we were working like crazy to get as many regulations out as possible," said Donald R. Arbuckle, who retired in 2006 after 25 years as an OMB official. "Then on Sunday, the day after the inauguration, OMB Director Mitch Daniels called me in and said, 'Let's pull back as many of these as we can.' "

Clinton's appointees wound up paying a heavy price for procrastination. Bush's team was able to withdraw 254 regulations that covered such matters as drug and airline safety, immigration and indoor air pollutants. After further review, many of the proposals were modified to reflect Republican policy ideals or scrapped altogether.

Seeking to avoid falling victim to such partisan tactics, White House Chief of Staff Joshua B. Bolten in May imposed a Nov. 1 government-wide deadline to finish major new regulations, "except in extraordinary circumstances."

That gives officials just a few more weeks to meet an effective Nov. 20 deadline for the publication of economically significant rules, which take legal effect only after a 60-day congressional comment period. Less important rules take effect after a 30-day period, creating a second deadline of Dec. 20.

OMB spokeswoman Jane Lee said that Bolten's memo was meant to emphasize the importance of "due diligence" in ensuring that late-term regulations are sound. "We will continue to embrace the thorough and high standards of the regulatory review process," she said.

Environmental regulations
As the deadlines near, the administration has begun to issue regulations of great interest to industry, including, in recent days, a rule that allows natural gas pipelines to operate at higher pressures and new Homeland Security rules that shift passenger security screening responsibilities from airlines to the federal government. The OMB also approved a new limit on airborne emissions of lead this month, acting under a court-imposed deadline.

Many of the rules that could be issued over the next few weeks would ease environmental regulations, according to sources familiar with administration deliberations.

A rule put forward by the National Marine Fisheries Service and now under final review by the OMB would lift a requirement that environmental impact statements be prepared for certain fisheries-management decisions and would give review authority to regional councils dominated by commercial and recreational fishing interests.

An Alaska commercial fishing source, granted anonymity so he could speak candidly about private conversations, said that senior administration officials promised to "get the rule done by the end of this month" and that the outcome would be a big improvement.

'Wildly unpopular'
Lee Crockett of the Pew Charitable Trusts' Environment Group said the administration has received 194,000 public comments on the rule and protests from 80 members of Congress as well as 160 conservation groups. "This thing is fatally flawed" as well as "wildly unpopular," Crockett said.

Two other rules nearing completion would ease limits on pollution from power plants, a major energy industry goal for the past eight years that is strenuously opposed by Democratic lawmakers and environmental groups.

One rule, being pursued over some opposition within the Environmental Protection Agency, would allow current emissions at a power plant to match the highest levels produced by that plant, overturning a rule that more strictly limits such emission increases. According to the EPA's estimate, it would allow millions of tons of additional carbon dioxide into the atmosphere annually, worsening global warming.

A related regulation would ease limits on emissions from coal-fired power plants near national parks.

A third rule would allow increased emissions from oil refineries, chemical factories and other industrial plants with complex manufacturing operations.

These rules "will force Americans to choke on dirtier air for years to come, unless Congress or the new administration reverses these eleventh-hour abuses," said lawyer John Walke of the Natural Resources Defense Council.

But Scott H. Segal, a Washington lawyer and chief spokesman for the Electric Reliability Coordinating Council, said that "bringing common sense to the Clean Air Act is the best way to enhance energy efficiency and pollution control." He said he is optimistic that the new rule will help keep citizens' lawsuits from obstructing new technologies.

Jonathan Shradar, an EPA spokesman, said that he could not discuss specifics but added that "we strive to protect human health and the environment." Any rule the agency completes, he said, "is more stringent than the previous one."

Commentary:
Readers Digest version of what Bush is doing, which is creating numerous federal deregulations to destroy the Unites States in every facet he can think of; internally.

To further explain, it would be as if the Chernobyl nuclear power plant explosion of 1986 occurred in the US, both in cost to human lives and the environment. Which this type of scenario would also very possibly affect or include environmentally, Canada and Mexico; at least with the devastating hazardous pollution standards that this type of situation would create. To even possibility not just considering global warming, but atmospheric affects globally.

On other issue’s it appears Bush would be destabilizing the whole of the US and creating further upgrades towards totalitarian rule or a akin neighbor of Nazism; which Bush had been doing with creating his legendary anti-terrorism laws and certain others during the majority of his presidency. Indeed big brother would be watching, even if an American took a sneeze.

Renters have trouble in New Orleans

A former resident points at the uninhabited and fenced housing project, in August 2006. Low-Income housing especially since Hurricane Katrina, in 2005; has became a major issue effecting New Orleans residents. While other types of decent affordable housing for residents is still virtually non-existent. The average housing cost since Katrina, has skyrocketed to beyond the income means, of most New Orleans residents, even some housing; in crime ridden neighborhoods. It is becoming a growing consensus, that the majority of New Orleans residents are tired of the Bush Administration scrap's or invisible presence and actually wish there dignity.

30 October 2008

NEW ORLEANS-Many New Orleans residents who lived in subsidized housing remain in limbo three years after Hurricane Katrina, officials say.

Some property-owners have opted out of subsidies from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development , the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported. HUD officials recently reported to U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., that six properties with a total of 395 units had been removed from the program.

Another 4,000 units still need repairs to make them habitable.

That leaves Keiajuana Tate with no home of her own. Before Katrina, Tate paid one-third of her income as rent for an apartment in a HUD-subsidized building. Now, she sleeps on relatives' couches, shuttling between two of her aunts.

Tate, who works part-time at the Superdome while she studies for a GED, does not have the income to pay market rate rent in New Orleans, where housing is more expensive and scarcer than it was before the hurricane. She told the newspaper she has looked at some low-rent apartments and found them "horrible," with problems like non-functioning plumbing and exposed wiring.

A Shia Door Knob of Hope

A Shia Muslim pilgrim touches the door Knob as they enter the Imam Musa al-Kadhim Masjid (Mosque) to take part in Jumma (Friday) noon prayers in the Kadhimiya district of Baghdad, on 31 October 2008; amidst the outlook of hope, for a better Iraq future without US occupation, genocide and sorrow.

This brings to mind, that for years because I couldn’t get my hands on Dua (prayer) beads because of my situation, I use to use my fingers as Muhammad (PBUH) had said. Then many years later, I found some, but they kept breaking and I would repair; until it seemed impossible to do anymore.

Then it seemed I found a simple one that I still have, among others later; then have been given as loving gifts.

But the most important thing I learned about these prayer beads, it wasn’t just the prayer‘s themselves; but it always gave me hope, when I could see the actual prayer beads in my hands, for something better ahead of me and a reminder that Allah (God) really loves me.

What people need to remember, the majority of my life I have been imprisoned with sever isolation too many times, especially when I was growing-up and at time’s, accept for Allah (God); I tended to be feel as far as people where concerned, utterly alone. Which in later life, I learned this was not so, with too much happiness on my part.

One could equate it that at times it was more like solitary confinement in a prison; at least what I have seen in old movies.-HRM Deborah

It has became a growing ideal, to show the global community that there is actually peace in Palestine that it is a country in the manner that it was before there ever was a war; with the growing beauty and harmony that made Palestine for centuries a country built on faith and love towards each and every citizen in the country.

For Palestine, prosperity is not just around the corner, but growing in people’s backyards and with the Canaanite and US slanderous media propaganda, which it has been reported numerous times; actually is initiated by not just the Bush administration, but global terrorist Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas terrorist organization, so people would think horrendous idea’s of war and mayhem that is only being perpetrated by these two propaganda camps or within there own minds.

As to the Canaanite juvenile “thug‘s” throwing stones and lying of who is actually guilty is not just Canaanite propaganda, but what they like to do best; be criminal’s without ever having a different mindset. For the majority of Canaanite’s have always been criminal’s to the tenth degree and always will be.

The one thing that actually makes it bad in cases like this, the overwhelming anti-Semitism that the Canaanite’s have always had; which recently I happened to get part of a Canaanite writing, 'that the Nazi’s should have finished the job of annihilating anyone Semantic and that they planned on finishing the job.'

Hopefully, this will give the global community the actual mindset of the Canaanite’s, there propaganda with the Bush administration collaboration; to falsifying the real truth of the State of Palestine.

Furthermore as to the recent US media propaganda, claiming that some Jewish Palestinians where forced to be Muslim Palestinians is simply a lie; the people of Palestine are not one to change there religious socks every time they turn around; as it occurs much too often in the West. Palestinians regardless of there religion, for thousands of years tend to be very happy with just who they are and appreciate that there neighbors are not necessarily the same religion as them; for Palestinians have a kinship, that goes beyond the simple boundaries of religion. It is all about ancestral family.

A Pilgrimage from Kashmir to Makkah

A man hugs a relative before leaving Srinagar in Indian-administered Kashmir for a pilgrimage to holy city of Makkah (Mecca), Saudi Arabia, on 30 October 2008.

While this pilgrimage is a very important part of Islam, this photograph is a reminder of a past time when the distance was so vast for some, that they never saw there families or home again.

Which is similar to American history, when a wagon train left for the Western region and families where separated to be left behind; to never hear or see each other again.

Bushonomics: America Hungers

A child sits on a ragged step
There heart ripped and torn
Yesterday the sun thought shine
Today it is nothing, but storms.

My mother use to have a job
My father went away
Our house was foreclosed upon
So here we have to stay.

The child see’s other kids
There Mother buys them good things to eat
But my mother can’t even buy bread
So we whimper, bulge and cry, with a painful sigh.

You ask what the child is called,
In such despair and misery
They use to call me many things
But now they just call me, America.

Syrian and Palestinian Protestor’s unite Against US Terrorism Attack on Syria

Palestinian men hold their national flag as they walk over a US flag during a sit-in protest at Damascus castle, on 30 October 2008; in reaction to a deadly US raid that targeted a Syrian village near the Iraqi border on October 26.

Thousands of people marched in the streets of Damascus today, waving Syrian flags and banners reading 'No to American terrorism' and 'American democracy' -- the killing of civilians at Abu Kamal,' the area targeted during the raid.
Syrian sits on a statue of Arab and Islamic leader Salah Eddine al-Ayyubi holding Syrian, Palestinian and Lebanese flags during the sit-in protest at Damascus castle.

It is a well known fact, that Palestine does not nor will we ever accept terrorism in any manner, shape or form.

Also, the people of Palestine strongly condemn the recent attack on Syria by the US, to further not accept; the loss of life due to this recent attack in the name of democracy or any form of tyranny towards the Middle East.-HRM Deborah

Bushonomics: Bush Tree Hiding from Economic Protestors

US President George W. Bush walks along the White House Colonnade, on 30 October 2008. Bush was leaving to traveling to Quantico, Virginia to make remarks at the graduation ceremony for Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) special agents at the FBI Academy.

As to Bush hiding, he has been trying to do this a lot in numerous ways since the economic protestors start arriving, because some contend; that since he has made so many mistakes during his presidency, he is a bit nervous by them.

What is most interesting towards Bush this time is he appears to be trying to hide behind a tree, it is well known that the economic protestors in Washington DC has became extremely huge and at times somewhat aggressive over Bush’s mishandling of not just the economy; but the whole of the country with the US in both economic and social collapse, it was reported.

Vietnam War Protest in Washington DC, 1967.

The crowd of protestors from my understanding at this time is so huge, it would make the Vietnam protests, look like a picnic lunch.

Furthermore, American’s are coming still in ever increasing numbers of the already huge crowd at this protest, to actually make there voice heard and make a difference towards what is becoming a dire situation for all Americans; towards every facet that is harming there capabilities to just live.

For the majority of American’s are now refusing to listen to Bush’s lie’s regardless of what facet of the media, to stand up for truth and make America a place that is actually suitable to live in or American’s determined to take back America.

There is also organizations at this protest, to help those with essential need’s such as food for example, to my understanding numerous other types of help; I apologize I have not been given a list of all the specific’s, but I have been told it is improving with agencies all the time.

Muslim Palestinians Introduce Music Appreciation to Children

Palestinian girl attends a music class at the Gaza Music School Project in the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza City, on 27 October 2008.
The school, the only one of its kind and was opened with funding from the Al-Qattan Foundation and the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music.

The students are to be taught the fundamentals of the oud, guitar, violin, keyboard/piano, and kanoun.
Only five students per instrument are accepted into the program.

It was explained to me that this concept came about because I was required to study music appreciation in a school when I was about twelve or thirteen, which I will admit was beneficial for me.
While I was in the state of Oregon at the time and my music teacher who was an excellent teacher on this subject and took a special interest in me because I wanted to learn especially in the reading of music, which after this much time is probably poor; but nevertheless he was from Albany, New York.
I have never forgotten him because he was such a good teacher to all the students and they thoroughly enjoyed taking his class, as to my memory; he only came for a time to teach this particular class on music.
Something I did almost forget is for a time, I played the flute when I was about ten or eleven years-old; with a different school teacher who was before the one above, which she thought I was very good. But nevertheless, like so many things, it was only for a short time.
As even a younger child, I had a very good ear when it came to understanding about the playing of musical instruments; which was a bit interesting even for me.
I could here a piece of music played on the instrument of some type and then could play the piece of music on the same or similar instrument flawlessly, I was told; which was one of those thing’s I never could understand, how I could do this.
Guess it is just a gift, that I am not sure if I still have.
To what I understand of Edward Said, he was like so many people for a time in Palestine that was like a rabbit following the carrot when it came to the truth about the war and what is sad, he never lived long enough like the majority of us from Palestine to learn the truth.

To my understanding Said, was actually a good man in many area’s; which I will admit, I am not an expert on the man‘s life as a whole.-

Bushonomics: Jobless claims remain elevated due to weak economy

Unemployed, 1934
Watercolor and ink on paper

30 October 2008
By CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER

WASHINGTON – New claims for unemployment benefits were unchanged last week, remaining at the same elevated level due to the struggling economy, the government said Thursday.

The Labor Department said new claims for jobless benefits for the week ending Oct. 25 stood at a seasonally adjusted 479,000, the same as the previous week and above analysts' estimates of 475,000.

The four-week average, which smooths out fluctuations, was 475,500, down 5,000 from the previous week's total.

The number of people continuing to claim unemployment benefits also improved, falling 12,000 to 3.72 million.

Separately, the Commerce Department said Thursday that the nation's economy shrank by 0.3 percent in the third quarter, an indication the country may already be in recession.

Many economists expect the economy to continue to shrink in the fourth quarter and first quarter of next year, meeting one definition of a recession as at least two consecutive quarters of decline.

Consumer spending plummeted by 3.1 percent in the July to September quarter, the Commerce Department said, the sharpest drop in 28 years.

Jobless claims above 400,000 are considered a sign of a recessionary economy. A year ago, claims stood at 332,000, the department said.

Job losses can ripple throughout the economy by causing consumers to cut back on their spending, and can also make it harder for individuals to make their mortgage payments, fueling the ongoing housing crisis.

Four weeks ago, the impact of the economic slowdown as well as Hurricanes Ike and Gustav sent jobless claims to a seven-year high of 499,000. The department attributed about 45,000 of the claims at that time to the impact of the hurricanes.

Hurricane Ike added only about 7,500 claims in Texas last week, the Labor Department said, which means claims have remained high even as the impact of the hurricanes has faded.

Companies cut 760,000 jobs in the first nine months of this year, sending the unemployment rate to 6.1 percent in September. Many economists expect the rate to increase to 8 percent or higher by next year.

Several companies have announced mass layoffs recently, including Whirlpool Corp., financial services company National City Corp. and Xerox Corp.

Commentary:

What apparently are not being necessarily counted here is that unemployed that ran out of unemployment extensions, because of the inability to find work and are dropped from the count of legitimate unemployed; which this is more assured, with continuous layoffs and business failures still on the rise.

What the bottom line is, these no longer countered unemployed; fell into the poverty crack and became forgotten.

As for ‘consumers to cut back on their spending,’ this has became a water trickle to even what it was a month ago. What may have been long lines at the checkout line is now in many places, more like a ghost town.

As in the Great Depression, with then US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt telling American’s that “Prosperity is just around the corner;” with the majority of the American people living from day to day in utter desperation and poverty.

Iran offers major proposals for enhanced ties among SCO members

30 October 2008

Tehran-First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi, currently in Astana, Kazakhstan, offered major proposals on Thursday to boost cooperation among the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's member states.

"Given their important political and geoeconomic position, the SCO member states can, by using massive existing opportunities for multilateral cooperation and convergence, promise a bright future for regional nations," Davoudi said in his address to the ongoing meeting of SCO prime ministers.

Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are the SCO member countries while Iran, India, Mongolia and Pakistan are its observer states.

"Given its strategic and principled policy on expansion of cooperation with regional and Asian countries, Iran has made constant efforts to promote cooperation and interaction with the SCO states," Davoudi said.

He referred to Iran's security, economic development, welfare, justice and energy (oil and gas) resources as main factors which can effectively help the SCO fulfill its objectives.

Davoudi added that Iran's geographical and historical closeness to the Central Asian states and the SCO's members was another major factor for promotion of ties with the organization's member states.

According to Davoudi enjoying rich cultural bonds, easy transportation facilities thanks to Iran's adjacent to the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf waters as well as the country's ability to transit goods and energy to international markets, were among other major factors helping Tehran's further cooperation with the SCO's member states.

He said that Iran's advanced technological know-how and its ability to offer services to the SCO's member states to promote their economic and social growth were other major capabilities of the country for broadening its ties and cooperation with the SCO's member states.

The Iranian official expressed hope that Tehran could strengthen its bilateral ties with the SCO's main and observer member states and could draw specific strategies aiming at expanding multilateral cooperation through setting up specific working groups.

The vice-president also proposed the SCO members and observers to establish a joint bank to reach an independent monetary system.

He stressed the need for finding common strategies to boost interaction between the organization's energy producers and consumers.

Davoudi also recommended the SCO to put expansion of cooperation with Iran at its agenda regarding the country's geostrategical position.

He voiced Iran's readiness to promote cultural ties with the SCO observer members with the aim of fighting against extremism and blind terrorism in the region.

Stressing that the current financial crisis in the world would have adverse consequences on regional countries, Davoudi said, "It is necessary to draw strategies to turn threats into opportunities.

30 October 2008

Commentary:

What the world is seeing is changes that such as this to last occur, was about 1437 years ago or usually when a Prophet appears, nevertheless, while the changes are not small things; but rather changes which affect every element from economy to society even to the smallest thread, which something with such momentum as this, only comes by Allah (God) himself.

While one could elaborate on the different changes, things such as this could be more found in writings from the Quran, to the Torah, to even the Christian Bible; it is this profound.

Mankind is in a time when Allah (God) as to what it is written in prophesies, before He is finished; no stone will be the same ever again. This also comes at a time when the armies of light and darkness are in numerous heated battles, for the sake of mankind; which is considered as numerous end of time events.

This also reminds of something I read the day before yesterday and was able to finish yesterday, about the Prophet Jesus (PBUH) mentioning two Prophets at the end of time. I first started reading on this from the Quran, which took me of all places to the Christian Bible, while the Christian part was mistranslated into English; I was still able to get the understanding which was assured meant to be conveyed.

The mistranslation part as I think came about because of the past that all the previous Prophets where men and it is sure that people would have a hard understanding that the first Prophet at the end of time is a woman and the only name given for her is Deborahor while she has this name is sometimes conveyed by her attributes.

A blood stain is seen on the ground as an Iraqi policeman and a youth stand near a damaged Kebab kiosk where an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off last night in Baghdad's Palestine street, on 30 October 2008.

The blast killed five people and wounded another 13.

It is estimated at 29 wounded, 15 dead, which includes one dead child; who was 5 year-old; in several attacks in Iraq yesterday. The US military is said, to be responsible for all these attacks on Iraqi citizens, at a time when Iraq wants to change the pact with US; which deals with everything from US withdrawal from the country to the Iraqi people being allowed to govern their own country.

Palin blasts Obama for ties to Palestinian professor

29 October 2008

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Sarah Palin thrust Barack Obama’s relationship with a Palestinian academic into the national spotlight on Wednesday at a rally in Ohio — a tactic reminiscent of her repeated attempts to tie Obama to former radical William Ayers.

Palin kicked off her rally in Bowling Green by stressing, as she always does, that “it is not negative campaigning to call someone out on their record.” In recent weeks Palin has used that line to open up an attack on Obama’s tax plans. On Wednesday, she tried something different.

“It seems that there is yet another radical professor from the neighborhood who spent a lot of time with Barack Obama going back several years,” Palin said. “This is important because his associate, Rashid Khalidi, he, in addition to being a political ally of Barack Obama, he's a former spokesperson for the Paliestinian Liberation Organization.”

Khalidi — whose name Palin mispronounced — is currently a leading scholar of Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University, and was a contemporary of Obama’s while on faculty at the University of Chicago.

Khalidi has been a stern critic of United States foreign policy towards Israel and has accused the country of “occupying” Palestinian territories, but he has denied acting as a spokesman for the PLO.

The Los Angeles Times reported in April that Obama praised Khalidi at a 2003 going-away party for the professor when he left Chicago. The McCain campaign has pressured the Times to publicly release a videotape of the event, but the newspaper has refused, citing the request of a source.

Palin said the public has a right to know what Obama said at the event.

“And the twist here is that there's a videotape of a party for this person, back in 2003, a celebration of him, and Barack was there, and we know some very derogatory things were said there about Israel and America's support for that great nation,” Palin said.

“And among other things, Israel was described there as the perpetrator of terrorism instead of the victim. What we don't know, what we don't know is how Barack Obama responded to these slurs on a country that he now professes to support, and the reason is the newspaper that has the tape, the Los Angeles Times, refuses to release it.”

Palin accused the Times of being Obama’s “pet newspaper” and said the paper would win a Pulitzer Prize for “excelling in cow-towing.”

The Republican vice presidential nominee was joined at her Ohio rally by Joe Wurzelbacher, known to the world as Joe the plumber. It was the first time the celebrated small business owner has appeared with Palin on the stump.

Palin described Wurzelbacher as “a fellow Alaskan” because he once lived near Fairbanks.

Commentary:
Rashid Khalid who is not Palestinian, but Canaanite and is associated with the PLO which now is known as global terrorist Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas Terrorist Organization or Fatah. Khalid it was reported is associated also with terrorism and in the global community is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

As to my understanding, Khalid is also associated with Barack Obama.

Furthermore, Khalid has been known to have extreme anti-Semitism views of not just the Jewish Palestinians, but also Muslim Palestinians, which is understood by many also in the global community.

As Sarah Palin’s terms and rhetoric about Israel which is apart of the State of Palestine now, it was found to be a bit offensive and show’s she really doesn’t keep up with the political spectrum or at least read a fifty cent newspaper; lately.

But as for her bringing out Obama’s and Khalid’s association she is right on the money, just may not seem to have had all the information.

Iraq wants Change in Pact with US

Iraqi refugees hold up their national flag at a demonstration outside the US and Iraqi embassies in Damascus, on 29 October 2008, against the deadly US raid on the village in Syria. Around a hundred displaced Iraqis chanted anti-US slogans as they demonstrated today outside the US and Iraqi embassies, the two embassies being in close proximity to each other, in Damascus protesting a deadly US attack that killed eight civilians in Syria, on 26 October 2008.

29 October 2008

Iraq wants a security agreement with the U.S. to include a clear ban on U.S. troops using Iraqi territory to attack Iraq's neighbors, the government spokesman said Wednesday, three days after a dramatic U.S. raid on Syria.

Also Wednesday, the country's most influential Shia Sheikh expressed concerned that Iraqi sovereignty be protected in the pact. Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani wields vast influence among the Shia majority and avast number of Sunni.

Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the ban was among four proposed amendments to the draft agreement approved by the Cabinet this week and forwarded to the U.S.

White House press secretary Dana Perino said U.S. negotiators in Iraq are closely reviewing the new amendments from the Iraqis to see if they are acceptable to the Bush administration.

Al-Dabbagh said the Iraqis want the right to declare the agreement null and void if the U.S. unilaterally attacks one of Iraq's neighbors.

U.S. troops launched a daring daylight attack Sunday into Syrian territory that caused the deaths of eight civilians, which Syria has demanded an apology.

For nearly two weeks, Iraqi politicians have been considering the draft security agreement, which the majority of the Iraqi people demand that US military leave Iraq by 2009.

The pact is also allegedly to give the Iraqis a greater role in supervising U.S. military operations and allow Iraqi courts to try U.S. soldiers and contractors accused of major crimes off duty and off base; which the Iraqi people should have the right to control crime within there country especially under the conditions of occupation and oppression by foreign invaders.

The agreement must be approved by the end of the year when the current U.N. mandate expires or the U.S. military would have to suspend all operations in Iraq.

Al-Dabbagh said other amendments sought by the Iraqis include a clear definition of "duty" when cases arise involving crimes committed off base. The Iraqis also want to inspect all U.S. military shipments entering or leaving Iraq.

"The Americans must realize that these changes are necessary to enable the government to persuade the people to accept the agreement," al-Dabbagh said.

The Iraqis insist those measures are essential to convince the public that the government is truly sovereign, a theme repeated by al-Sistani.

A statement issued by his office said the Shia Sheikh wants to ensure that "Iraq's sovereignty not be breached" by the accord and that he was monitoring the situation "until the final content of the security agreement becomes clear."

The U.S. military, meanwhile, handed over security responsibilities for the southern province of Wasit to Iraqi authorities; it is being said in the U.S. media.

On Wednesday, attacks in numerous manners are still plaguing the Iraq civilians, by attacks said to still be from the U.S. military. Which it is estimated at 29 wounded, 15 dead, which includes one dead child; 5 year-old.
