It is so lovely to have the opportunity to send such warm greeting’s to the kind people of Sri Lanka and the People of Palestine so greatly appreciate your warm kindness and support towards us.

I do apologize that such a man like global terrorist Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas had to darken the country of Sri Lanka for a very short time and it is a hope in the future you should not be subjected to such a horrible man. If circumstances where different, Abbas would not have been in your country to began with.

Over the years what I could, I have tried to learn of Sri Lanka, but my knowledge is a bit short because of my situation and I hope everyone understands, because I wish it was not so.

Nevertheless, I do understand that the country is as beautiful as her people and for this; I have much gratitude to know there are people like the people Sri Lanka in the world and we have the opportunity to be friends.

Corrupt powers subject to extinction: President

Colombo-President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Tuesday that the corrupt powers are subject to extinction.

Addressing a group of Sri Lankan Ulema, Muslims, and various religious leaders, he said the corrupt powers will be replaced by those advocating friendship, love, justice, and monotheism.

He Condemned the bullying powers for their expansionist objectives.

He regretted that the corrupt powers wage wars, occupy different countries, kill innocent people, and displace civilians.

The oppressors do not respect any human principles and have targeted all human and religious values, the Iranian president reiterated.

He called for administration of justice and peace throughout the globe.

Referring to Tehran-Colombo friendly relations, he said the Iranian nation considers progress and prosperity of Sri Lanka as its own.

Ahmadinejad urged followers of all religions to be united and stand up to the hegemony of corrupt powers.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, he arrived in Colombo Monday at the second leg of his three-nation regional tour which will later take him to India.

The president is accompanied by his senior advisor, Mojtaba Samareh Hashemi, Head of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Minister of Commerce Massoud Mir-Kazemi as well as a group of other senior officials.
