The Care of Family and Orphans

Something that has always been appreciated by me that is within Islam and that is the care of family and orphans.

Islam does not have the adage of what the United States coins as “deadbeat parents,” that due to divorce or absent by what ever means from the household; that a person is still responsible for the care of wife and children no matter where they may be.

It is also important to understand, that the care of an orphan is equally important and this is where Islamic law differs from laws in the United States for example, in that if one finds an orphan child in Islam; that they take the child into there home and raise them as part of there family with the love and care as any other member of the family and not by the strict laws found in the United States.

As for me, numerous times if I had been in Palestine especially during the war, knowing me; my home would had many orphan children to shower with love along with my own.

Even with my situation in the U.S., I have helped raise and love many children over time and have loss count because of the numerous children I helped care and raise so they would be less like “Latchkey” children and have a more normal life. To this day, if I meet one of these children from my younger days, they still tend to call me, "Mother."

Furthermore, the parent’s of these children where very happy that I was apart of there lives, also.

Nevertheless, I am also the type of person when I have been out of the home, to watch over children with the hope; less would be found on milk carton’s and on posters as missing or dead.

To with permission also from the parent’s, to help what appears as a troubled or withdrawn child to have a brighter happier life.

Even in our modern times with Islamophobia so rampant, I think back of how many American parent’s had practically begged for me to come and care for there children; so they would have a better life in the parents minds, to also what was said to me many times; that the parent’s knew in there hearts they would have happier children, that would learn how to be good people as adults.

Palestine Today

A simple clarification, the Jewish people that are now in Palestine, are celebrating the fact that they are in Palestine, not anything to actually do with the war or a state. From my understanding, they are now happy to know the truth of what actually did cause the war as well as we as Arab Palestinians are and the fact the war was caused by outside interests.

There is much sorrow yet of the countless martyrs of the past war, but it is also understood that Allah takes care of them and the living have to be taken into more consideration.

As for Zionism, the ideology is practically outdated, from what I have been told, Palestine is becoming the country it should have been before the war was created. Palestine at this time is doing far better then it has in 108 years.

Any criminal situation that occurred as part of the war has been resolved accept a small nucleus of terrorist from the organization backed by the outside agitators that is bent on the destruction of all Palestine and this is not being allowed because of the welfare of all citizens of Palestine.

Furthermore, it has always been important for a strong relationship among all Islamic nations and the ties between these nations are binding, as well as they should never be broken, under any circumstance.

On a personal note, growing up in almost utter isolation from American society makes me a unique creation, for I never understood there precepts nor followed them, I have always been a product of my country and its principles and being in isolation, I had to opportunity to learn Islam more in its purist form, I have been told. I will admit I have a deficiency in my home language, because of my imprisonment.

Nevertheless, it has been felt that Allah put me in a unique situation being in prison so to speak, in this particular foreign country.

I have never believed in having animosity towards any one situation, I do believe in what is acceptable for the welfare and human rights of all humanity. Because all people on this planet have a right to live a good life without precept of anyone doing or wising them any harm.

For as I have mentioned before, we are suppose to live in a garden, not a graveyard.
