Islamophobia Vandalism Hits Southern French City

Vandals hung a pig's head from the door of a Muslim prayer room in eastern France, daubing the building top to bottom with swastikas and anti-Islamic graffiti, police said today.

A passer-by alerted police Wednesday morning after discovering the pig's head hung from the door and trotters from the shutters of the prayer centre, part of a north African community center on the outskirts of the town of Toul.

The graffiti read : "France to French people, Here is Nazi."

What find’s situations such as this and other forms of intolerance in the last few years one of questions, is due to historically; France did not have such as this within their country, but quite the contrary with such an example of Monarchal alliances made between France and the Middle East. For centuries, there was warm friendliness, between these two parts of the world.

As to the graffiti shown on the building, I can still remember reading of the French underground fighting the Germans during World War 2; to free France from occupation.-HRM Deborah

Cops: 'Pink Panther gang' jewel thieves nabbed

Balkans-based group is suspected of stealing $134 million in series of heists

PARIS - Two suspected members of the "Pink Panther gang" of jewel thieves were arrested in Monaco after a car crash, police said on Friday.

The gang is believed to have stolen $134 million in various countries.

Interpol said the suspects were Dusko Poznan, 30, from Bosnia-Herzegovina, and an unnamed 27-year-old Serbian, and belonged to the Balkans-based "Pink Panther gang."

In 2004, the group hid a several-hundred-thousand-dollar diamond ring in a jar of face cream — the same place used in the first Pink Panther film, starring Peter Sellers as the bungling Inspector Clousseau.

One of the men was arrested in the hospital Wednesday by a police officer who took his statement following the crash. The second was arrested afterward.

Commentary:
While I guess these thieves needed a gimmick, but from the Pink Panther movies of all things.

While it apparently took a little time to catch them and it is good that these criminals are no longer at large.

Furthermore, some very qualified law-in-forcemeat where after them and not Inspector Jacques Clouseau; while this was a terrible crime, one can not still see a bit of humor and have chuckle or two.

Just proves crime doesn’t pay, even for the Pink Panther.

Muslim African immigrants attack three Jewish teens in Paris

It doesn’t matter the religion or what society in the world, there is good and bad people; otherwise, there would be no crime or other unacceptable issue’s occurring in the world.

Case in point, is the recent attack of three Jewish teens by a group of Muslim African immigrants in Paris on Saturday evening, which it should be known that not just anti-Semitism, but any form of racism is unacceptable in Islam as well as one would think in any religious body and it has always been a firm belief that anyone has the right to walk down any sidewalk and feel safe.

Since there is a reoccurring problem on this particular street or area in Paris and this is just a suggestion, because I have no authority to dictate crime policy in France; but rather just suggest that police should be stationed in this area until the problem ceases to keep the French Jewish citizens in the area safe, especially traveling to and from the Synagogue and Chabad school, until these types of crimes would hopefully cease.

While I am appalled over this latest incident especially since the youth’s had to be hospitalized with such injuries, it is hoped they will recover and everything be good for them once more.

No place in the world, regardless of where it is should practice racism or religious persecution in any form nor should these types of attitudes be a means to show the animal nature of mankind to commit such heinous crimes upon anyone.

What has always made it hard for me to write about such issue’s as this, is because I have always believed that people should love and respect each other to the fullness of the sanctity of life no matter what there religion maybe or who they are; for we all should care about each other then do such sorrowful thing as this and I for one understand about things of this nature being an age old survivor of such treatment.

Furthermore, anyone that commits such crimes as this should be held to the full extent of the law with also the hope to stop these sorts of crimes.

BBC News says shirts reading 'Jews forbidden from entering the park' in German, Polish sold for $27 each

French prosecutors have launched an investigation after T-shirts carrying anti-Semitic slogans were seen on sale in a shop in Paris, BBC News reported Wednesday.

According to the report, the shirts carried slogans in German and Polish that translate as "Jews forbidden from entering the park" and were reproduced from Nazi signs from 1940 that targeted the Jewish community in the Polish town of Lodz.

Nearly 200,000 Jewish residents of Lodz died in concentration camps during World War II.

BBC News quoted the sales assistant at the Parisian store, in the Belleville district, as saying that one person had bought five of the grey, sleeveless garments for about 18 euros ($27) each, but added that said she did not understand what the inscription meant.

The neighborhood of Belleville in eastern Paris has witnessed ongoing scuffles between groups of Jewish youths and youngsters of North African origin, the report said.

Greetings to British Prime Minister Brown

I wish to extend very warm greetings to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his nice wife Sarah; also to the British people and I am very happy a respected representative of Britain, is in my country.

Britain is one country; I have always had great fondness for and not just because, your monarchy and Palestine’s monarchy are related nor the relationship Palestine and Britain has had, since about Plantagenet period.

But I do hope, Queen Elizabeth 2 and her family is doing very well and I wish them, very much happiness.

Furthermore, the British people has a long history of some remarkable attributes, especially, when necessary to speaking there mind; which is my understanding, British Prime Minister Brown did, towards Mahmoud Abbas and his entourage of criminals.

Like so many of the lovely gentlemen before him, it was reported, that British Prime Minister Brown, not only asked Abbas to surrender; but covered all four corners of Abbas’s behavior, along with the rest of Abbas’s organization.

Nevertheless, I am happy to understand, the rest of British Prime Minister Brown and his wife Sarah’s visit seems to be more enjoyable; with such things, as listen to a prayer during a visit to the Church of Nativity, in Bethlehem, for example and in the Hall of Remembrance in the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, in Jerusalem.

It is also my wish, to say thank you to British Prime Minister Brown and his nice wife; for visiting my country and your overwhelming kindness not only to my country, but towards me, as it is my understanding.

I must say, it is so very nice to see everyone talking and what appears to be so very happy; while I wish I could have attended, I am still with everyone in my thoughts. As well as, we in the global community could always be agreeable on most things and be always happy and contented with each other.

Arrival of the Delegation for Mediterranean Founding Summit

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and 42 leaders launch today a union between Europe and its Mediterranean neighbors; but some in the media is saying, there is alleged tensions among Middle East countries could undermine the grand plan which is rather hard to believe.

What has not been said at least that I have seen, is the last time that I can think of a delegation this large at 40 countries was in 1951 and this particular summit is much larger at 42 leaders.

By chance, I happened to see an old news reel and at that particular summit there was said by that media, to be some tense moments.

France hosts Mediterranean Summit

Paris-Leaders of EU and Mediterranean rim countries are gathering in Paris to launch a Union for the Mediterranean.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy is hosting leaders from 42 nations, to discuss issues including regional unrest, immigration and pollution.

France says the new union could send a "wind of hope" through the region.

Progress has already been made. Sarkozy announced that Syria and Lebanon had agreed to resume diplomatic ties.

Lebanon and Syria broke off diplomatic ties after former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri was assassinated in 2005.

Sarkozy held talks with Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman and then Syria's leader Bashar Assad and announced opening of embassies of Syria and Lebanon in Beirut and Damascus and hailed the moment as an "historic step forward."

Abbas Looking for the Eiffel Tower?

The one thing that is interesting about this scenario, was when French President Nicolas Sarkozy, was in Palestine, along with his lovely wife Carla and Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at Ben Gurion International Airport; Mahmoud Abbas sent his henchman in an attempted assassination of the very people Abbas would want people think he is enjoying their company, when in fact Abbas is an extremely racism especially, when it come to Anti-Semitism.

There was a bit of an understanding also, that Abbas was planning to head to Ramallah instead of Paris, because he was wanted in Paris as much as the U.S. alleged Measles epidemic or Black Death (Bubonic plague) of the 16 and 17 hundreds which so horribly swept Europe.

Paris-French President Nicolas Sarkozy has welcomed his Syrian counterpart, Bashar Assad, to the Elysee Palace.

The meeting, part of a weekend of diplomatic efforts centred on the Middle East, marks a return to the world stage for the Syrian president.

Relations between the two countries became strained following the assassination in 2005 of Lebanon's former Prime Minister, Rafiq Hariri.

France accused Damascus of involvement, an allegation denied by Syria.

'Boost'

Mr Sarkozy will later host a meeting between Mr Assad and Lebanon's newly-elected president, Michel Suleiman, a day after the formation of a new unity government in Beirut.

Mr Suleiman told the Associated Press that Lebanon wanted an "exchange of ambassadors and diplomatic relations" with Syria.

The two countries have not had diplomatic relations since Rafiq Hariri's death.

The Paris visit is a big boost for Mr Assad, helping Syria to break out of its diplomatic isolation, says BBC world affairs correspondent Nick Childs.

But critics say it is too much of a reward, when there are still serious question-marks over human rights in Syria and its alleged role in the killing of Hariri.

Earlier on Saturday, Mr Sarkozy held talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who will be a key player in the French leader's plan for a union of Mediterranean states, our correspondent adds.

Mr Sarkozy is hosting a summit on Sunday to launch this union, which will be attended by 43 leaders of countries in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Only Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is expected to boycott it.

French-Algerian pop star Faudel delayed at Allenby border crossing on his way to Arab music festival in West Bank. Israeli source says delay stemmed from lack of coordination with authorities

The French-Algerian singer Faudel, also known as the "prince of rai music," was delayed along with his entourage of ten people at the Allenby Bridge crossing on Wednesday evening. The singer was making his way to the West Bank city of Ramallah in order to perform at the Arab world's largest music festival, held annually in the ancient city of Jarash.

The French television network TF1 and the news agencies quoted Faudel's manager, Michel Levy, saying that the delegation to Ramallah was delayed by Israeli authorities. According to Levy the delay nearly caused irreparable damage to the show.

Faudel performed at the Palestinian Dance and Music Festival, sponsored by the French Consulate. In a press conference held by the event's organizer, Iman al-Khamouri, she told reporters that Faudel arrived late because of the Israeli authorities.

Pete Learner, spokesman for the Unit of Government Activities in the Territories, said that "the singer Faudel and his entourage's crossing was not coordinated with the unit beforehand, and therefore they were required to undergo the normal examination procedure conducted at border crossings, without special treatment.

"Following the incident, we have clarified to the French Consulate that in future cases they must coordinate with us ahead of time, so that we can facilitate the process for delegations such as this one."

30-year old Faudel Belloua was born in France to an Algerian family and grew up in the suburbs of Paris. His first album was released in 1997, and since then he has been considered one of the most successful pop stars in his home country. His fourth and latest album combines French and Arabic songs, and also leans heavily on Algerian culture in France.

Commentary

Faudel, I do apologize for the delay at the Allenby Bridge, but please understand we do have a terrorist problem yet in the country and security is tight until this problem is subdued.

So please in the future until the current situation is resolved just bare with us and contact everyone ahead of time to make everything easier for everyone, especially yourself and your entourage.

I also deeply apologize, to the French government.

Italian Foreign Minister Sought Surrender of Abbas's Terrorism Organization

This writing was not put here earlier, because of concern for Italian Foreign Minister Frattini’s safety, from being attacked by members of Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization; as what dreadfully almost occurred with an attempted assassination towards French President Nicholas Sarkozy, his wife, long with Jewish PM Ehud Olmert and Jewish President Shimon Peres.

The assassination attempt occurred towards the end of French President Nicholas Sarkozy, with his dear wife while at the airport; after they had made an unsettling visit with terrorist Mahmoud Abbas, on 24 June 2008.

After the ordeal on the 24th of June 2008, I do hope that French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his dear wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy are doing very well and I do wish them to come to my country in the future; with the hope of more pleasant circumstances then what happened at the Ben Gurion airport, because I would never wish such as this to ever happen to them again.

From what I understand, the French President and his wife are very nice and wonderful people and I wish them very much happiness.

I wish their was more I could say, but sometime the medium of communication one has to use, puts a hamper on rather then a help; when expressing good things especially of oneself, towards others.

Respect of Three Flags

What is interesting, is a diplomatic car usually only carries the flag of the country of who is riding in the car, in this case to show respect to everyone in Palestine; French President Nicolas Sarkozy and First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy choose not just there flag of France, but that of the Jewish people and the Palestinian people.

It was further reported, that the Palestinian flag was not just in respect to the Palestinian people alone, but also for Queen Deborah of Palestine; which made the Queen very happy, for the French President and First Lady’s kindness while they where visiting her country.

The Queen Deborah of Palestine has always hoped to be able to visit French President Nicolas Sarkozy and First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy's, beautiful country someday.

While Queen Deborah of Palestine is upset over the murder of the soldier and the two men that where injured, she is relieved to know that Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and French President Nicolas Sarkozy with his wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy were unscathed by this attack.

The Palestine legal government further condemns, any attack upon any Palestinian citizen or visitors to the country.

Furthermore, every action is being taken to remedy this problem.

Jewish security guards have whisked French President Nicholas Sarkozy and Jewish Prime Minister Ehud Olmert away during an airport departure ceremony.

It remains unclear what brought about the abrupt end to the ceremony. Jewish media have conflicted reports on the cause of the mayhem.

A Jewish official at the scene says a soldier fainted on the tarmac, leading to fears that a gunshot was fired in his direction. He spoke on condition of anonymity because an investigation was under way.

Jewish Police say there was no assassination attempt on Sarkozy; while other sources reported there was.

Earlier today, police said three rockets hit southern part of the Jewish sector and Prime Minister Olmert's office says the cease-fire that took effect last week with Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization has been broken.

Islamic Jihad terrorists from Abbas’s organization in the Gaza Strip says they carried out the attack to avenge an Jewish military raid that allegedly killed one of their fighters in the West Bank early Tuesday; which is unfounded and contrary to other reports.

Jewish national rescue service says two people were lightly wounded in the rocket barrage.

As for the Palestine legal government and the Palestinian people, they are committed to a continuing peace with the Jewish people and are outraged over this attack; as well as the importance to visiting guest’s to Palestine and all citizens in Palestine to be safe.

Furthermore, an incident of this nature is classed as an international incident and is not taken lightly by the global community, as well.

Update:
The soldier that was said to have fainted on the tarmac and later to have been said was a suicide, was actually shot in the head by a Abbas terrorist sniper, it was reported.

Further information has been reported, that this attack was in collaboration with U.S. President George W. Bush; which this is not the first time Bush has attacked a head of government.

As for Jewish Prime Minster Ehud Olmert on making a decision of what to do in this instance, it should be understood he has full support and aid from the Palestinian legal government, in resolving this injustice.
