UN: Over 12,000 cholera cases in Guinea Bissau

24 October 2008

GENEVA – The United Nations says over 12,220 people have been infected with cholera in Guinea-Bissau and 201 have died from the disease.

UNICEF spokeswoman Veronique Taveau says the outbreak of cholera in the West African nation has proven exceptionally difficult to control.

Taveau says the capital of Bissau has more than half of the cases, but the disease has spread to all provinces since it started in mid-May.

Taveau said Friday that officials fear the disease could spread further because of an election campaign expected to draw large crowds in unhygienic conditions.

U.N. humanitarian spokeswoman Elisabeth Byrs says the United Nations is already spending $1 million to fight the cholera outbreak.

Commentary:
As to this cholera epidemic that it usually is in the water supply, especially if wells or of this nature get’s low and in some cases stagnates; is it possible to purify the water in some manner or supply water until the contamination is resolved.

In the US at one time, American’s use to get this disease and Diphtheria, but nevertheless, it was caused when there use to be dug wells and when the water got low especially in summer; there was at times major epidemics like is being faced in Guinea-Bissau.

As to Diphtheria, some of the symptom’s do reoccur after a person has had the disease throughout the rest of there life, similar to the reoccurrence of malaria.

Int'l activists Illegally Plan to sail into Gaza within October

22 October 2008

International 'pro-Palestinian' terrorist campaigners will sail into Gaza in October to challenge a non-existent 16-month-old alleged Jewish embargo on the territory, a Palestinian terrorist activist said on Wednesday.

Jamal al-Khodary, an alleged independent Canaanite lawmaker who is wanted for questioning in regards to terrorist activities associated with Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization and who heads the Gaza-based Popular Committee against the Siege which has ties to Mahmoud Abbas terrorist organization, said the "Hope" boat will start its voyage from Cyprus to Gaza on 28 October.

"Western activists, an alleged Arab member of the Jewish Knesset and a West Bank-based member of the Mahmoud Abbas’s Canaanite terrorist organization would be on board," reported by an unidentified source. Al-Khodary remarked without validation, "the Israeli occupation prevented the ship, which carries medical supplies, several times from weighing anchor."

In August, some 46 activists from Free Gaza Movement barely docked illegally two wooden ships at Gaza seaport as they where told to turn back several times by the Palestine government for illegal entry and forewarning of terrorist’s aboard, which is high crime's in Palestine and they further, led an armed attack towards the Palestinian military upon landing on Palestine soil.

According to al-Khoadary, the anchoring of the new Ship will coincide with the alleged arrival of European parliamentary delegation, which neither can enter without permission from HRM Deborah of Palestine's permission only; in this case.

If this latest group attempt’s to illegally enter Palestine, the appropriate measures will be taken, according to International and Palestine law.

Update:
As to the United Nations recommendation on this situation, HRM Deborah of Palestine agreed completely and thank you for there kindness.

28 October 2008
Especially due to recent events by these terrorist’s and I say this without hesitation, that they did not follow any procedures even if they where a legitimate group, other then trying to bully there way into Palestine; which is being reported this group sole intention is to transport on said boat’s supplies for terrorism to global terrorist Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas’s Canaanite organization.

These boats’ and all aboard are considered armed and extremely dangerous for associates of this group, will commit murder with opportunity in full collaboration with the Canaanites.

Everything necessary to protect Palestine and her citizens should be implemented.

Palestine Believes in Human Right's and the Eradication of Poverty

Palestinian children take part in the parade on the occasion of International Poverty Eradication Day in the West Bank city of Jenin, on 19 October 2008.

Last Friday marked the UN's International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, which commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Whether it is poverty or human rights, we as people across the globe should do our part to make a happier world for everyone.

Furthermore, as to these issue‘s, the Palestinian people are very strong advocates for a better world, free of poverty and stand firm on the issue of human right‘s especially right now in a world where too many people are having there basic right‘s violated; through such means as war, slavery, oppression, torture, terrorism and genocide.

Personally, it is a hope that in the future, these types of violations as well as other’s similar; become the past and with the valuable resources that we have as a global community, to one day irradiate poverty from our landscape completely.

Nevertheless, it should always be a reminder, that all people are important and we should always appreciate with the values to work together to actually resolve these global problems.-HRM Deborah

Iraq: Americans Go Home

Shia demonstrators carry Iraqi flags during a protest against a proposed U.S.-Iraqi security pact, on 18 October 2008; in Baghdad, Iraq.

Supporters of Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadr allegedly protested against the agreement which would replace the existing U.N. mandate authorizing the U.S.-led forces in Iraq.

The new agreement would allegedly require American forces to leave by 31 December 2011, while it has been understood from previous reports, that the majority of the Iraqi people wish the American‘s to leave earlier; as much as by June 2009.
The protests and anger towards the US-led forces by the majority of the Iraq people both Shia and Sunni is actually understandable, due to the ferocious behavior the Iraqi people has had to endure at the hands of the American military; to further stand for the American’s to get out of Iraq, as soon as possible.

Iraqi leaders say US commander risked his position by ill comment

18 October 2008

Baghdad-Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki warned in comments broadcast Friday that the top US commander in Iraq "had risked his position" by suggesting that Iran tried to bribe Iraqi lawmakers to oppose a security agreement with the United States.

Maliki's remarks were aired on state television as he convened the leaders of Iraq's political blocs to review the security agreement that would sanction US troops staying in Iraq after a United Nations mandate expires December 31.

The meeting of leaders, known as the Political Council for National Security, ended with plans to meet again Sunday, according to Haidar Abadi, a member of parliament from Maliki's Islamic Dawa Party.

Abadi said he did not expect the discussions to move quickly after Friday's session.

US Army Gen. Ray Odierno, who took command of US forces last month, told the Washington Post in an interview published Monday that American intelligence reports alleged that Iran had attempted to bribe Iraqi lawmakers to sabotage the agreement.

The comments, which drew the ire of Iraqi politicians all week, brought an angry retort from Maliki.

"The American commander risked his position when he talked about this issue and in this manner. He has regretfully made relations complex," Maliki said in remarks made to Kuwaiti journalists on Thursday and aired Friday.

"The man is known for his goodness, but [I don't know] how he made such a statement, and there is no reality in this subject.

The parliament does not take any bribes, neither from Iran or any other party. This is regretful."

The Iraqi government and its three-member presidency council had already issued statements condemning the remarks. The US military had also taken the step of reiterating that Odierno was criticizing Iran and not Iraqi lawmakers.

The dispute revealed the tensions festering in US-Iraqi relations five years after American-led forces toppled dictator Saddam Hussein.

Bolivian president censures United States

24 September 2008

UNITED NATIONS-Bolivian President Evo Morales on Tuesday said the United States has tried to thwart his political ambitions and, more recently, failed to condemn a pro-autonomy movement that uses "terrorist" tactics.

The 48-year-old Morales, in an address to the United Nations General Assembly, described privatization as the cause of the world's financial crisis, and credited his nationalization of Bolivia's petroleum industry as a boon to the nation's economy.

"In 2005, before I was president, the state of Bolivia had only $300 million from hydrocarbons," he said. "Last year, 2007, the Bolivian state -- after the nationalization, after changing the law -- Bolivia received $1,930 million. For a small country with nearly 10 million inhabitants, this allows us to increase the national economy."

Morales, the nation's first indigenous president, cited "a permanent conspiracy" among pro-autonomy, largely white groups in four eastern petroleum-rich areas, or "departments," that oppose his efforts to redistribute some of their wealth to poorer areas of the country.

He noted that he acceded to his critics' demands that he hold a referendum on his popularity and was vindicated, winning it last month with an overwhelming 67 percent of the vote.

The four eastern departments have gone on to hold their own referenda, which Morales rejected as illegal. They also called for autonomy, setting up roadblocks, attacking the national police, abducting federal employees, seizing airports, seeking to interrupt the export of natural gas through pipelines, and taking over state-run television stations and community radio stations.

"When I was a little boy, during the time of military dictatorships, the coups d'etat began when they took the state-run television channels," he said. "History repeats itself. But thanks to the conscience of the Bolivian people, they defeated the civil strike in Bolivia."

Though European and other Latin American countries supported the Bolivian government in the face of the pro-autonomy movement, the United States failed to condemn the acts of "terrorism" that the groups carried out, said Morales, who expelled the U.S. ambassador in response.

Morales said he was not surprised at the U.S. response. He said that, as a member of parliament in 2002, he was accused by the U.S. ambassador of being a narcotrafficker and an assassin.

The rhetoric got worse, he said, with the ambassador calling him an Andean bin Laden and his indigenous peasant supporters "Talibans."

"The U.S. ambassador said, 'Don't vote for Evo Morales. If you vote for Evo Morales, there will be no international help or cooperation.'"

Morales said the United States was so entrenched in Bolivian politics that, when he assumed the presidency in 2006, "We found a CIA office in the palace." In addition, he said, a member of the U.S. military oversaw the shipment of illegal arms to Bolivia and then said they were to be used for training purposes.

Bolivia is not the sole target of U.S. government interference: The United States works against any nations that reject the capitalist model, he said.

"When one person works for equality, for social justice, he is persecuted and conspired against by some groups. By groups not interested in equality of humanity."

He added, "Here, it's the fight between rich and poor, capitalism versus socialism ... capitalism is the worst friend of humanity."

Though there was no immediate response from Washington, U.S. officials have denied Morales' assertions in the past.

Iran president challenges unjust world order

24 September 2008

New York-President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday challenged the unjust world order and pressures exerted by some powers seeking to trample the rights of other nations, oppression imposed on the majority of the global community, especially on the people of Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

In his address to the United Nations General Assembly, he expressed concern about challenges such as efforts to shatter the sanctity of families, destroy cultures, humiliate lofty values, neglect commitments, expand the shadow of threats, as well as about the arms race and the unfairness and inability of the systems governing world affairs in reforming the status quo.

With the occurrence of various new developments, the debility of existing mechanisms has been revealed even more.

However, at the same time, an encouraging trend, which has originated in the thoughts and beliefs of peoples, has blossomed and become stronger.

Posed against the despairs caused by the new developments, this trend has ignited the ray of hope for a brilliant, desirable and beautiful future in the hearts of men.

God created the world for humans and humans for Himself. He created humans from mud and in the soil, but He did not want them to remain in the soil and with animal instincts. He kindled the light of guidance in their souls and asked them to rise from the soil to the heavens and to Him with the help of wisdom, prophets and perfect men.

The world will ultimately disappear, but God has created man for eternity and has made them a manifestation of Himself. Creativity, mercifulness, kindness, knowledge, wisdom, zeal, concealment of sins, splendor, justice, bounteousness, generosity, greatness, love, glory, dignity, forgiveness, insight, kingship and all other goodness and beauty are attributes of God.

God has not created humans for aggression, bloodshed, rancor, selfishness and destruction. He made humans His vicegerents on earth and has asked them to, on the one hand, make earth prosper by using their God-given potentials and to prepare the ground for the growth of divine attributes in all humans, and to provide all with a life full of beauty, amity, freedom, justice and goodness; and on the other hand in pursuance of this path, to prepare for a prosperous, everlasting life endowed by God's mercy.

God has obligated humans to live divinely and socially, for it is only through social life and interactions with others that divine attributes may emerge.

God Almighty has tied their perfection and true freedom of humans to their devotion and obedience to Himself. True freedom and obedience to God are in balance and in fact are two sides of the same coin.

Obeisance to God means confessing to monotheism and obeying His commands, and to be free from ungodly worship.

Obeisance to God means the acceptance of the absolute truth, the absolute light, and the absolute beauty.

Obeisance to God means abandoning selfishness and animal instincts, power-seeking and aggression, surrendering to
righteousness, justice, love, and perfection.

And in this way, humans can achieve their true freedom and flourish, they can grow and manifest divine attributes, have affection for others, stand up for justice, and fear no power or threat, and defend the oppressed. In such an environment, one's freedom will not impinge on any others'. Contention and conflict are characteristic of materialistic freedom and animal instinct. The essence of all divine religions and obeisance to God and true freedom is disassociating from oppressors and instead obeying and worshiping God, for:

- God is omniscient and knows all that is revealed or kept secret, and He is kind and merciful.

- All creatures are humble before Him and resign to His will.

- God is alive and is the Creator of the universe and all life.

Of course with the grace of God Almighty a hopeful trend is flourishing in the heart and soul of human societies.

The universal eagerness for justice, purity, and love for others, monotheism and the quest for perfection is clearly and increasingly on the rise.

A universal resistance against the acquisitiveness, aggression and selfishness of the bullying powers is being formed.

Today, the bullying powers' thoughts, practices and strategies are rejected by nations and governments, and all are seeking to establish new human relations based on justice with a view to attain prosperity, perfection, security, and sustainable welfare. This is the very auspicious phenomenon that all the traditions of creation and the ruling laws of the universe emphasize and support.

Iran refutes US for illegal action against Iran's shipping lines

13 September 2008

New York-Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations on Friday strongly condemned the US for illegal action against the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, saying that it targeted the welfare of the Iranian nation.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Iranian mission denounced the unwarranted move by the United States on September 10, 2008 in labeling baseless allegations and taking illegal unilateral measures against the IRISL, to exert pressure on thousands of ordinary shareholders of the company.

"The said illegal and unjustifiable measures that are taken under false pretexts, yet again put on display the unilateralist approach of the United States, and constitute another example of US contempt for international law, and are indeed doomed to fail because of their hegemonic, illegitimate and illegal nature," the statement added.

The Islamic Republic of Iran categorically rejects the baseless allegations made by the US against the IRISL, and strongly condemns the said US invalid unilateral measures, it added.

The statement further noted that the IRISL has been operating under the rules and regulations of international law pertaining to the carriage of goods by sea, and as such, has never engaged in illicit activities including "proliferation activities", since there are such activities in Iran.

As stressed, time and again, by the officials of the International Atomic Energy Agency and as reflected in the agency's numerous reports, the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran is purely peaceful and there is no single evidence or indication to the contrary, it said.

"Given the US has failed to provide any evidence with regard to the so-called "proliferation concerns" in Iran, nor has it presented any substantiation to its allegations against IRISL, these unlawful unilateral measures only add to the absurdity of such blind US policies and practices."

Equally unwarranted are the attempts by the United States to justify such illegal actions by its false and perverted interpretation of the Security Council resolution is, it never prescribes such measures, the statement said.

"It is abundantly clear that these measures are intended to target the welfare of the Iranian nation, and to exert undue pressure on thousands of ordinary shareholders of this company," it said.

Therefore, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its right to seek compensation for the damages that may be incurred to its citizens as a result of such unfounded accusations and unlawful unilateral measures.

The statement said that history should have taught a lesson to the advocates of unilateralism and hegemony, that no amount of pressure, intimidation and unlawful measures will be able to break the resolve of a great nation that is determined to defend its rights.

Iran, major neighbor to Iraq: UN envoy

11 September 2008

Tehran-The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq (SRSG) Staffan de Mistura said here Wednesday that Iran is a very important neighboring country to Iraq.

De Mistura paid a visit to Tehran on September 9-10 and held talks with senior Iranian officials on promotion of regional cooperation and dialogue with Iraq by encompassing the views of neighboring countries.

Speaking to reporters, he assessed as "constructive" his talks with Iranian officials and said that Iran has close cooperation with Iraq.

He added that Iraq's neighboring countries play significant part in supporting the country's security, stability and national sovereignty.

He said that Iranian officials have called on Iraq to pull out of the UN Chapter VII, adding the UN Security Council would discuss the issue soon.

The UN envoy said that projects which are currently underway in Iraq by Iran would further bolster Tehran-Baghdad relations.

He added that exchange of visits between Iranian and Iraqi officials indicate strong ties between the two countries.

Praising Tehran-Baghdad constructive energy cooperation, the UN envoy said Iran has made investment in that sector in Iraq.

While in Tehran, the UN representative held talks with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and a number of other senior officials.

Mottaki advises US to listen to Iran's guidelines on Iraq

9 September 2008

Tehran-Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Tuesday that the Americans should accept realities in Iraq and listen to Iran's guidelines on respecting the Iraqi people and their will.

According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mottaki made the remarks in a meeting with the Special Representative of UN Secretary General for Iraq Staffan de Mistura in Tehran on Tuesday.

Before the new US administration is compelled to act on the realities in Iraq, it is advisable for the current US administration to do this, Mottaki said.

On developments in Iraq, Mottaki said, "We welcome the active role of the UN in this respect and hope the body to play a much more active role on restoring Iraq's security as well as sovereignty." Most of Iran's offers which were proposed at Istanbul conference have been carried out, he said.

Iran welcomes any move in support of the Iraqi government and people, he said.

UN should play its proper role in dealing with current developments in Iraq, he said adding that the UN should not remain indifferent to removing Iraq from chapter seven of UN charter.

UN should not merely watch current developments in Iraq and Afghanistan, he said adding, "Unfortunately, we observe that many years after the crises in Afghanistan and Iraq, insecurity in both countries is on rise."

Iran has always backed Iraq's democratic government and believes that continued presence of outside forces is the root cause of insecurity in the war-shattered country, Mottaki said.

The UN envoy, for his part, said, "We have always backed Iran's role in Iraq since it spares no effort to support the Iraqi people and government."

UN is now closely following up Iraq's developments and is to play a much more active role to this end, he said.

Iraq's neighbors play significant role in restoring security and stability in Iraq, he said.

On the upcoming visit of Iraqi president to Tehran, he said the visit would be very crucial for expansion of mutual relations between the two countries as well as future development in Iraq and the entire region.

UN special envoy to Iraq, arrived in Tehran on Monday night and is to confer with a number of high ranking officials during his stay in the country.

Note:
It should be also known that Global terrorist, Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization, is also under chapter seven of UN charter and agreeably so.

Furthermore, HRM Deborah of Palestine in behalf of the true Arab Palestinian people and the Jewish Palestinian people, wish to give my gratitude to the United Nations for their kindness towards us.

Rafah Food Aid to Refugee's

Palestinian refugee citizens transport sacs of food they received from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), on 20 August 2008, in Rafah.

The care of Palestinian citizens is important and always has been a priority and the appreciation towards UNRWA during this time of trying to diligently work to nullify this situation.
As for those outside of Palestine that has tried to claim Palestinian refugee status illegally, they will not be allowed to come to Palestine for they are not actually Palestinian citizens or refugee‘s.

“Free Gaza” Group Go Home

Jewish Defense officials favor forcefully blocking two boats which a group of U.S.-based activists plan to sail to Gaza to protest what they call "the Israeli siege on the Strip."

By HRM Deborah

Detour the Free Gaza group’s boats from landing on Palestine soil use force if necessary, especially if the navy is fired upon; for they are committing a crime against maritime international law and Palestine law, by what is actually can be considered forced entry to a country, similar to to form of piracy.

This group is not for the benefit of anyone in Palestine, but very much the contrary and it is strongly suggested that not allowing them on shore would greatly detour the usual crimes committed by these types of people; especially aiding the terrorists, that tends to lead to violence type of situation.

Furthermore, this group calling themselves Free Gaza did not get authorization to enter the country legally. I personally, did attempt to send them the necessary procedures for authorization and the true idea of there intentions and it fell on deaf ears, apparently.

These people from past experience are in question of there intentions if they enter the country and to enter the country as it stands now, would be in the manner that is against Palestine law; as well as some of the activist’s have past history of aiding terrorists and this can not be allowed, as well as violence within the country, among other issues.

Update:

18 August 2008

The Gaza Now activist’s are now claiming their mission is strictly “Humanitarian,” and that they are carrying medical supplies, among other things. It is a known fact, boxes or crates labeled as medical, farming and such are a guise to deliver guns, bombing supplies among other terrorist’s implements; with the intent to deliver said crates to aid the terrorists.

This organization has a known reputation for aiding terrorists within the country and the Queen of Palestine’s original decision still stands.

22 August 2008

Nothing has changed as far as this situation, even with the now joining of a very question organization calling themselves Huwaida Arafeh; because it has been found any organization associated with Gaza Now, are indeed terrorists.

For numerous investigations has been done towards these very over bearing activists, that have no respect for Palestine it is found, in any manner and there sole intention is to aide terrorism.

23 August 2008

In a statement from Gaza now, the activist terrorist group intends to illegally land in Palestine, by landing on the beaches and while they say if they are arrested for violating International and Palestine law, they will consider it kidnapping; which they can protest all they wish, but they are the ones breaking these laws and furthering the assumption, that they do plan on committing unlawful terrorist action upon Palestine soil and not Gaza‘s Now claims of humanitarian assistance where there is no need and furthermore, not wanted by the Palestinian people.

From continuous reports, the only people they do plan on aiding are the terrorist element within the country.

It should be further understood, that these people's apparent understanding is only to follow terrorist propaganda and the terrorist agenda and follow the dictates of such. From personal observation, this lays along the line of a type of political brainwashing; by some definitions. This may account in part, to there extreme arrogance and the flaunting of actual laws and insults towards not just the Palestinian people, but the Queen herself.

From my understanding, if these terrorist land on Palestine soil; it can be considered an act of aggression or an invasion by foreign powers and furthermore, this is not just by International and Palestine law; but Islamic and Jewish law.

Those attempting to meet these foreign terrorist boats are all Canaanite and from my understanding, associated with global terrorist, Interpol fugitive Mahmoud Abbas’s terrorist organization.

As to the media propaganda, these terrorist boats are refused entry not only by the Palestine Legal Government, but by the Jewish government, it was reported and as to these terrorist boats, it is strongly advised; to not enter any part of Palestine or the Jewish sector, but instead to turn about or leave.

The terrorist boats have landed ashore in Gaza, do what is necessary to protect all the Palestinian people from this foreign invasion for we can be considered under attack, for they are breaking all laws and have created a grave insult not only to the Queen of Palestine, but towards all the Palestinian people.

It should be further understood, that these terrorist where indeed transporting weapons, so they should be classified as harmed and extremely dangerous.
Nevertheless, there is known terrorist’s among this group; that has carried out previous attacks on Jews and Arab Palestinians, it was reported. One in particular, may be carrying a UK passport.

In is kind of interesting since these Gaza Now boats claimed to be on a peaceful humanitarian mission, while weapon smuggling, carrying wanted terrorist aboard and at this time, are committing terrorists attacks not only on the military, but people from the United Nations, it is reported.

24 August 2008

It has been reported, that the Gaza Now terrorist boat people, when they fired on the military and the United Nations people; that the military fired back, in self-defense.

Some of the terrorist boat people where killed, while committing a terrorist attack on the military and other’s where arrested.

It is also deeply sad, that such a thing as this did occur; for these people died in shame as criminal’s and nothing more.
